Guys,
i finally found a way to unlock my iphone 3G by downgrading baseband 2.30 to baseband 2.28..my iphone is working with software version 2.2.1 and baseband 2.28 with all networks (telenor, mobilink, warid, ufone)
since it is a huge for almost all iphone users who have updated firmware so i'm sharing this...
This thing only works if your bootloader is version 5.8 (will not work if it is 5.9)
though i tried a diffcult method to do..but i'm explaning this a bit easier here..
make sure your iphone is jailbroken and you are able to use internet via WiFi on iphone...
Just go to Cydia and search for "3G Baseband Downgrade" .That's all you need. Download and install that and then you should see an APP with an unlocked LOCK on it that says 3GBBD and then press that and it will downgrade your baseband 2.30 to 2.28! then just use usual yellowSnow...
to confirm go to settings ] general ] about ] modem firmware (It should be 2.28)
i've checked all networks and they are working fine
But if your iPhone was manufactured after Sep. 08 it will not work which means you must have a 5.8 bootloader. But at least try it, it won't harm ur iphone
Good Luck !
