I want to increase my bike speed

Hello friends, I have recently bought honda cg 125 power plus(clasic).Its speed is very slow. It goes only to 90 or 95kmp/h.How i can increase its speed for racing.I bought it in december 2008.How i can get faster speed.plz tell me iam waiting for reply.Thanks in advance.

Hmmm,basic alteration like sprockets,gear ratio conversion,reduce its weight,use good oil,tyre pressure should be ok,better to use 4ply tyres in your case both front & rear.

1- First of all check its chock position its lever position must be fully down press.

2- Check its idle rpm 1400 (+- 100)

3- Check by changing its spark plug with origional NGK or ND

If all above are ok then check sppeedometer and replace another one.

if problem still persists then tell me again

Bro U bought a brand new 125?
If it is the case then i must mention here that new Honda CG125 is quite poor in speed etc! People buy it 4 fun,as its in their minds that it is fastest 125cc bike...

But nt now... But even then its speed shud go upto 110Km/hr!

Older models easily went upto 120Km/hr plus they had more acceleration and more Jerk and gear change(Due 2 acceleration) So aj kal speed lovers ke leye koi khass option nae ha...but comfortable rides ke options bohat hain!

Ur new bike also may be requiring a tuning + carburator 2 be opened and adjusted + Tapet to b tightened!!
I hope u got ur warranty free services done by honda mechanics..

new bikes ke settings thek nae hotein...4 speed,acceleration..U have 2 adjust petrol etc. Whereas brand new bike ka petrol ziada kia hota ha so that bikes engine remains Lubricated... So u shud hav get tht petrol adjustment done as soon as ur runing was over!?

If bike was old model,2nd hand purchase phir meri sari typing zaya gae! Lolz!!

Neither the pakistani roads are for racing, neither these bikes are and above all the pakistani traffic is most dangerous.

Put 2 'type R' stickers on each mud-guard..
Bhai it's a 125 not 1025.ride it like a 125. 90 is enough for u.Agar buhat zoour ki speed aai hovi hai tou phir hi-octane dalwa lou bike mai.

Drive safe you have absolutly no idea what would happen if the bike would go out of control (and can and does every now and then) at high speeds... and i have seen parents crying over dead bodies of their so called "racing enthusiast" ......

I don't get it!!!! why the parents would give the keys to young guys (who would race due to rush of blood) at first place???

dude ... a 125 is a very unstable bike...making it go faster will simply make it worse...however air_xplorer and CHANGE's tips are valid...i'd definately suggest them...but then again on a 125 i wont

and mr zaidi agar aap ka 125 naya hai to just pehlay aik bar bike ko khali road par lay ga kar 2 ya 3 dafa is tarha chalay
first gear ki speed 1 to 35km
second gear ki speed 35 to 70km
third gear ki speed 70 to 90
aur fourth gear ki speed 90 to 110
surely u will gwt good responce aur wieght lose bhi karaien ok by
