you mean batteries will input 48v to inverter, and inverter will give us 220v ?
we are thinking about water battery, instead of dry, as dry batteries are costly.
we just need 8 hours backup at night, we can run generators for 3-4 hours.

Bro, i am gonna buy arround 4 320W panels (24v), for now, just to run fans and washing machine in day time, i will setup 24v system, with 2 batteries, and an inverter + charg controll, ..would it be ok ? i will buy more panels next month then. any idea about cheap inverters (off grid) .. because we dont have any electric connection yet.

Could batteries be left out? For eg, I dont have regular power issues in bahria town. Could I start with a small setup just to save some electricity cost, and expand later?

For eg, whatever my load is during the day, hybrid inverter will use from wapda and what little solar input to generate the total output needed?

Yes. I "designed" the system (loose emphasis on design - I selected the components and the functionality I wanted), but i'm no engineer (basic knowledge of electricity only which allowed me to understand things which i've already forgotten haha)
