a good idea will be to get an already running service station on lease instead of making a new one.

I also having the same plan after ramdan, I have already done paper work on it, a normal car wash with four jacks, 200 feet bore, big water pump, compresor, generator, Shade and guests lounge with LCD and ac and other small items like pipes etc will cost 10-15 lack including land on lease. and daily 35 car service would give average of 90000 plus per month saving...

,being a women and venturing into car service business is an extreme stupidity ill still salvage your idea and would strongly recommend you to go for a lady wash ie a beauty parlor ,the most notorious job pak women are famous for,every tom dick harry keeps popping up in terms of customers and merchandise every other day, Cheers

This post is not to DISCOURAGE you in any way but I have a bitter experience with this, this guy from UK sold everything there because he wanted his kids to grow up in Pakistan and he opened up a car wash but THE PEOPLE who he hired to work gave him so much TROUBLE and at times I used to see him washing cars / motorcycles by himself and in the end he had a fatal heart attack, so PROCEED with EXTREME CAUTION : PLEASE DO ALL HOMEWORK before giving out even a single penny ....... My 5 cents

if u have capital 3-6 million go for a modern car wash it will be new in town and u will attract a lot f business.]

you are a female and if you use machine to help you it will not create problem for u.

i would recommend an automatic car washer like in europe

Very True, Islamabad really wants a good car wash,
I suggest you to go for Automatic car wash like we see in Europe.
Secondly, after a lot of research i knew and tried the F-6 Shell Pump in Islamabad, they really are good in servicing A-Z...
No one does better than them.

well i will advise you a big NO
why

1) idea of running a car wash business by a lady is not a good one and not suitable ,you will be dependent on the workers who will cheat you as majority of Pakistani labor is not sincere within Pakistan

2) you don't have any experience and this is the type of the business where you can not just sit in the office
you have to greet and meet people from every walk of life and deal with them and obviously you will face stupid people

3)instead of a car wash i would advise you to go for a Boutique within 10 to 15 lakh Rs Budget or partner with some one and go for a Montessori / KG type school or you can open a Beauty Saloon etc

4) for any business i advise you to do your home work properly , have a budget for your expenses for one year minimum
i.e rent , bills etc
start with the basics and at the smaller level and grow with experience

dealing with labour would be the hardest part
i heard the station guys keep the labour on "thaika" or % so they stick around

and someone asked you to open a beauty parlour. not a good idea at all if the place is rented. someone in my family had to close her's with heavy losses

Is there any place avalible in islamabad for car wash, im confused to open in peshawar or islamabad, what you people suggest, here in peshawar now a days they charge 100 for body wash and 200 for complete service and in islamabad its 300 for service.

As much as I love the idea of an automatic car wash too, I am doubtful about its success as well. You cannot compare Europe with Islamabad. Their roads and surroundings are super clean. Automatic washer works there.
Here in Pak, we need to wash under the mudguards, under the car floor etc with a lot of hard work. Automatic washer wont suffice here.

We need to note that who works on service stations? I have observed two types.
People from KPK i.e. Pashto speakers - Afghans too
Christians

As many people have warned, it is really and I mean REALLY difficult to tackle such labor until and unless you are one of them. It is a BIG BIG hurdle.

On the other hand, it is also a very lucrative business. I agree with waseef.

I would suggest xubi999 to go for an oil change business instead. It is less problematic and has good incentive too.

As before i was intrested in automatic car wash but it wont work here in pakistan due to its periodic maintainace, and cant wash a bit modified cars like if you put antena or long spoiler etc and that automaitic washer do only body wash not service. im intrested to start in islamabad after ramdan

you can get full auto car washes that also pressure wash the under carriage. they are pricey.. Car wash business in Pakistan IMO is a waste of time and money unless you have some really odd plan of business. The problem is that people dont look for quality they look for "jugaar" they will compare your top notch karcher equipment with javed pump with scarecrow holding pipe with one finger. They wont give a damn if you are using correct car shampoo or just using "bonus detergent" or even "shaved lado sabun". Then the labour you hire will try to rob you blind and even plan to do other things too.
