I want to swap a toyota camry 2gr-fse in my corolla 2009....where can i find one?

Hi guys
Just got 5 A's in my a levels and dad is damn happy. He gave me his 2009 corolla altis and has allowed me to do anything to it and he will SPONSOR MY PROJECT TOO....WHICH MEANS HE WILL GIVE ME AS MUCH MONEY AS REQUIRED.
My first step is to take out the stock 2zr-fe engine out...and put a toyota camry 2gr-fse v6 in it..which will produce about 290hp stock N/a. But im unable to find one. I checked online but with no luck, thats why created a PW acc so that i could ask you guys.

After i get the motor...i would do all the mods like higher compression, intakes, portwork, headers and downpiping etc . Goal would be to produce atleast 340-350whp n/a.
After it i might take it to HPR islamabad and get it turbocharged....thinking about precision 6765 turbo....that is a GIANT. The goal would be to achieve atleast 500whp.
And to control the wheelspin i already have 22 inch full slicks that i had in my previous civic which i sold...and also have some tein coilovers.
Btw i live in bahawalpur and money wont be a problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

First of all congratulations and best of luck with your project. There are a few things which you may or may not have taken into consideration like does this particular engine is a bolt on fit for corolla or will it need alterations ? What about the transmission ? Have you taken into consideration any other engine, for instance a 2zz-ge ? I hope you are planning to get bigger brake setup too + better suspension. I say call maxpower motorsports, hpr or some other reputable shop to get a proper direction.

I contacted hpr...they said it was possible but immense amount of custom fabrication for the engine mounts would be required...it WONT BE A BOLT ON...and ofcourse i will go with brembo drilled and slotted rotors.....not sure about which tranny to use though...hpr will figure it out....as i said money is not a problem.....
Problem with 2zz is that it is a bit outdated and it does not has the n/a tuning potential as the 2gr fse

If you can pull it off, it will be the only one with that engine block afaik. Best of luck. OR you can get something like an evo and take it from there.

why increasing the number of pistons ?? 4 are enough if money is not a problem get a sr20det or 4g63T. Make a hybrid.

But 4g63 is for awd ....it will require converting the car to awd first.....and as for sr20det it ir rwd and will require rwd conversion

Yes i know but you can go for a custom sequential tranny. it seems impossible but can be done no doubt need's a hell research and fabrication.

Damn ....i just saw on wikipedia the S family engine ....and 3SGT (530E) is a MONSTER....although turbocharged....but a factory engine producing 671hp is amazing

3s-gt may be a different engine. The 3s-gte produces much less then that but have seen that engine in many corolla's of different generations from older to relatively new ones.

What drive train is it compaitable FWD,RWD OR AWD??

There was one ae-101 in my town which was front wheel drive but it's gone now and one is awd as claimed by the owner. AWD would be a good choice so then you can add more power without worrying about torque-steer or understeer with FWD.

yes.....one is in peshawar one is in isb(not sure isb or karachi) etc.
not sure that it can be done on e140 or not.....other car's parts might fit or not.
