I want to Switch from Honda City to Aqua or Prius?

i bought an Aqua 2013 reg 2017 81k done on 10th june, only got its oil zic 0W20 changed after buying. Car is giving 20kmpl in city. Yesterday went to Hyd from Khi and returned same day, the car has returned 20kmpl on highway also (4 adults and a kid), i want to say that this car has excellent acceleration and it does 160kmph very quickly, the suspension is bit hard but provides decent grip on high speeds.
Prev. owner told me that he had got hybrid battery changed.

Aqua has worst legroom specially for rear passengers. City to aqua is only an upgrade in drive quality..nothing else

Jitni fuel economy aap ne leni hai 3-4 lacs mehngi Aqua khareed k, utnay se kum ka petrol extra dalay ga Honda City me. So buying an expensive hybrid just to save bucks on petrol is ridiculous.

Go for it you wont regret it. Aqua is a wonderful car. I was in the same situation back in 2017. I drove just 20K on honda city and sold it and bought aqua and still loving this car.

81K on ODO and Hybrid battery changed, i wonder how the hell this can happen, Outside Pakistan Aqua battery life is more than 170K miles which is 270K KM, either dealers reverse the meters or they remove original pack came with car

Toyota offers 8yrs and 100k miles warranty on its hybrid batteries. So comfort, ride quality and mileage all things on one side and our corruption and dishonesty on other side lol

It's not about fuel at all. It's the transmission, safety, smoothness of drive, fuel economy, bigger engine and a better suspension. Overall an upgrade worth trying.

If I were you I would have already sold my City and bought an Aqua or a Prius. My both neighbors own Prius 1.8 and 1.8 Alpha. The reason is the best fuel economy in the daily commute. Plus, they offer a handful of safety features. I heard that there are plenty of spare parts available for Aqua in Karachi.

I personally prefer the look of the 3rd gen Prius as the new Prius has a die-hard design failure. It may not be pleasing to most people’s eyes. And the cost it comes with totally takes away the meaning of buying a hybrid for saving fuel.

Good luck. The ground clearance issue can always be solved with the help of spacers.

Yes and if the batteries are replaced, the car must have been driven atleast 250k KMs.

Thats the point, auction sheet becomes outdated the moment car leaves port of japan, after that whatever customisation or modification or tampering happens, there is no record of that other than the seller's say.
And here in Pakistan we know how credible that is !!!

True. People usually rely on auction sheet, not knowing the fact that car may got damaged after the auction. May be during shipping, water damage has happened in many cases. May be the previous owner had it accidented. No credibility of used car.

But i still have a question that why did he change the hybrid batteries? There's no way hybrid batteries can be replaced at 80k unless there is some mechanical defect. Atleast i didn't see any scenario like this before.

Not to extend that battery life cuts to half,

My Aqua ODO is at 107K Km still feels like 30-40K Km, Meter reverse is conman in PAK this is sad reality

you guys are putting me into thinking about selling this car.
BTW my Aqua gives minor tik tik noises from the door trims on rough roads, i think its the same in all aquas due to plastics used by toyota.

this is a question which i would ask from the Jamshed road hybrid battery dealers, their input on this question would be constructive. as they keep changing batteries
