I will survive! Tale of a 67 split window bus

The surface preperation is going ahead full steam at Irfan's. It is being wet sanded a second time and would be sprayed with primer another time before minor blemishes are touched up with tiny amounts of filler and wet sanded yet again. After this treatment the first covering coat of paint would be applied followed by more touch ups if needed and wet sanding before the final coat is applied in a paint booth.

The bus is ready to receive its first (covering coat of paint) Actually it has been ready for more than a month. The project has been delayed for some avoidable reasons but hopefully we will be able to work around those. As soon as the bus receives the covering coat of paint she would be readied for the final paint and transported on a flat bed trailer to the paint booth.

The project is stalled and the bus has been moved to a storage. The body is ready to receive the first coat of paint but that it has been since May last year. I am trying to try work around the hurdles as the vehicle and parts that need to go on after the paint are taking up space.

The earliest I see something happening is towards end May when I return from Canada.

The bus is in storage for the past 22 months. I keep reminding the owner who has got too much on his plate to devote attention to the bus. Its the same for me as I have several ongoing projects with deadlines I cannot ignore. As a result the bus stands in a corner gathering dust.
