My name is Khizer Iftikhar. I am an aspiring automobile designer and I am currently building a cheap car for small families, students, and females for my university Thesis. I was initially going to make a car with 3-wheels( A reverse trike with 2 wheels at the front and one at the back). The rear wheel will provide the power, while the front 2 wheels will be used for steering. I can also go for a 4 wheel full fledged car instead of a reverse trike but I chose to go for a trike to reduce the cost. I am aiming to design a car which can be bought for max of 6 lacs for the engine variant, and 11 lacs for the all-electric variant.
What things would you like to see realistically in a car which I am aiming to make?
What would be some of the important factors I should know before designing a car in Pakistan? Laws? Materials? Labor? Possible Investors? The industry?
Any other advise from this community?
