Immobilizer in 11th generation pre face lift corolla

Aoa. I was thinking about the possibility of getting an immobilizer in 11th gen corolla, the 2014-2016 model gli. I have searched a lot and found no after market immobilizer lets you control ecu like the built in does. I was thinking of the possibility of getting the immobilizer by corolla indus itself. as far as i know the two corolla share the same engine. so things i will be needing will be:
1: immobilizer and its key
2: ecu
3: might be some additional wiring.
Has anyone tried to do it? or have calculated prices and all?

i don't think anyone would have gotten into this, people usually use the aftermarket remote security system, those have an immobilizer system in them. you can get a quotation from the dealership

is there any system that has immobilizer? embedded with ecu? cant find one...

There are systems that once installed, don't allow the car to start unless they are disabled. and no, they don't get embedded with the ecu but much rather with the fuel pump

useless then as they are all by passable. only safe thing as of now is immobilizer for the local thieves.

not really, the best thing is a steering lock. that slows them down the most.
As for the immobolizer, everything is steal-able, all we can do is slow them down enough so they either get startled or caught.
And its just a matter of time before they catch on this tech and start roaming around with ecus.... So don't stress too much, take basic precautions and get a steering lock, all shall be well
