Import Of TV from Dubai

Hello guys.
Can anyone have experience of importing TV from Dubai to Karachi/Pakistan?
I want to Buy LG C3 55". Here in Pakistan it is available for arround 550,000. And the price in dubai is arround 325,000

Can anyone guide how to import this? Is it safe to import as much as damages are concern? And how much it will cost?

It would be best to have this packed in wooden box for transport (my wild guess is it will cost about aed 800 for wooden box), handling in Dubai is done with care but the real idiots are located in Pakistan who have no idea on how to handle cargo moreover truck loading is done irresponsibly here. There are many pakistani cargo companies in dubai/sharjah who give per kg rate on door to door delivered duty paid basis meaning all charges inclusive and the mode is by sea, you can estimate delivery in around a month. I am not sure what the current rate is but you can estimate 3 to 5 aed per kilo.

How much extra would it cost?

Transporting in wooden box reduces the risk of damage to lowest but the risk still exists. If the difference is quite large go ahead take the risk if the difference is negligible for you then purchase locally. I haven't calculated the entire cost as i dont have the weight/dimensions, they will charge you based on gross or volume which ever is higher. pickup of the tv, customs clearance in uae, shipping to karachi, customs clearance in karachi, customs duty and delivery to your location should be included in the rate (its called a door to door rate you can ask the agent to write on their invoice that the rate is for door to door service and inclusive of destination customs duty). I am not sure what you mean by extra cost, the wooden box will cost you about aed 800 which is additional ofcourse.

Now I got it.
Extra cost I am thinking is pickup of product from dubai and delivery on door step including customs/duty and transportation.

sir @mfahadb001 for such value item better stick to local availability. Buy from a Brand which provides you with a warranty and later aftersales support.

I don't know much about brands in Pakistan.
Sony doesn't offer gaming enhanced TV in 55" in pakistan. The only choice is TCL, and have mixed opinions for TCL products and warranty claims
