Importance of Catalytic Converter in Mehran EURO ll

Hello everyone,

Some local mechanics suggest to remove the catalytic converter instead of cleaning it.

Also I’ve seen cases where people have intentionally removed the catalytic. Obviously it’s harmful for the environment but does removing the catalytic converter affects the performance of the car either positively or negatively?

Your oxygen sensor shall give false reading's to ECU which then manage air fuel ratio according to that O2 sensor readings... Cat ko 2 lac tak kch nai hota... Jb chock hoga apko khud idea hojyega acceleration slow hojygi and gari 40-50 sy oper nai jygi.. engine bht zor lyga.. desi mechanic sy Bach k rahain... put your hand on exhaust and observe air pressure at idling, then rev the engine and observe...apko exhaust k flow sy e idea hojyega k cat chock hy ya nai...

Mechanic n kaha k exhaust ki matti pehly ee kisi n nikali howee ha. I wonder if he was pointing towards cat or exhaust m b koi mati hotee.
