Importing Exporting Vehicle from UK to PAK

Hi there i would like to know the Pakistani Customs guidline and fees on Exporting a 1998 Mitsubishi Shogun LWB 3000 v6 , what would the total cost and fees for the car to reach Pakistan and it would stay there permanent , can anyone give any information on this as i cant find anything on the internet ?
is there any age restrictions of bringing a car into the country ?

I don't exactly remember the rules, but 2 things I remember from what I read about importing cars under baggage were the age of the car (2 or 5 years as I remember) secondly there was something which didn't allow import of SUVs.

so i cant import anything from any country at all not even Japan, as i seen the Jeeps for sale in Pak and most of them have toyota engines underneath,

SUVs are imported but there is a certain age limit for them to be imported, if I remember correctly SUVs has to be under 5 years of manufacturing date which can qualify them for import.

Cars : 3 years old from manufactured date
SUV's : 5 years old from manufactured date

Lengthy and cumbersome process based on current rules.

For temporary import, look into carnet de passage.

Import of Vehicles -SRO 52 (I) 15.1.2019

[image] under the rule: the remittance of payment of duties & taxes shall originate from the account of Pakistani National sending vehicle from abroad and the remittance shall either be received in the account of the Pakistani national sending the vehicle from abroad or in case his account is nonexistent or inoperative in the account of his family SRO 52 (I) 15 01 2019 - so called importers shall look for better opportunities n larger picture now the family member shall be a filer …
