I don't know if it applies to everyone but many Chinese vehicles are not available in RHD because they are not present in countries that drive on the left (steering on the right side). Example is Changan, Pakistan is the only country where they sell that has RHD cars.
Other than that it should be the same as importing a Nissan Leaf for example. The difference will be sourcing the vehicle from China as their market could be very different compared to Japan. See if you can talk to traders who import goods from China to see if coming by road is an option, and how things are done overall. But not a lot of cars are imported from China because they drive on the other side.
