I am single but my job experience will not be very useful for me. That's why I will be relying on my certifications. Its a professional certification and has its own worth in the market. If I try really hard and finish CCIE then the job is guaranteed with job security. That's how it is.

I have talked to my mother (which was very important for me to convince her and take her opinion) and my brother. I have told them all the conditions that I am in, I know my capacity and I cannot manage with this schedule in the office, moreover its office politics that's bugging me more. I have talked to my team lead about the duties and the unfair treatment and discrimination between me and the other colleagues but he doesn't get it. Money is not an issue for me and my family is supportive alhamdulillah. Now what I am left with is to email my Manager about it, giving him two options, either remove one of my night shift or accept my resign as I cannot take it anymore at all.

My plan is to complete my CCNP, do the concepts thoroughly and leave for Dubai on 3 month's visa and find a job over there. I hope I can find job in these 3 months or I will go again for 3 months. My family is already in Dubai Alhamdulillah so I want to be with them and not alone rotting in hell here. My office is kind of place where I am alone all the time. So its loneliness at the office and at home and then there is crap I have to eat from outside.

I have had enough and I can't take it anymore. What is the use of this telecom experience when I don't even want to work in this field anymore? I hope my CCNP cert and command over the subject would land me at least an entry level job in a reputable humanitarian organization where we are at least offered tea in the office and not left on our own in the nights shifts, eid, sehri and iftari.

I have learned my lesson working in this organization that will surely help me in future inshAllah, a few extracts
- No colleague is your brother and they are just there to use you one way or another, just be aware and watch you back,
- It doesn't matter how honest you're to your organization, to your boss. Its the politics that wins every time.
- When your time is over for a company, you will know it the very moment.
- Never make a company your home, gather what you can and leave for good.
- NEVER go for shift job, even if you're working in 9-5 job where you have to sit a little late and get 2 days off is thousand times better than job that disturbs your internal clock, your routine and when the world is sitting at home and enjoying eid and you're sitting in office. The thing that makes sense is, you're working when everyone is working, you're home when everyone is supposed to be at home and sleep when you have and the way it has to be.

First thing, you should not take it as a sign of weakness, my posting here you have already shown you are strong, aware of your condition and willing to fight it out.

The biggest support you will get is from your loved ones, they have to understand your condition and should help you out with it.

Try to make yourself busy, explore something new to do, try to identify the "keys" which sparks the depression and try to avoid them.

Anti depressants can help but the biggest help you can get is love and care from those near to you and will power. Trust me you can over come it, from what I have observed you are a strong person.

Bro I work 14 to 16 hours a day, I don't get weekends off and my only day off is on a week day. We should be thankful to what we have and keep on looking and hoping for the best.

Thank you for praising brother. Yes my family is very supportive alhamdulillah and its never about money. My depression is always for a reason, I am strong when dealing with the matters of my loved ones but I am very weak and careless when it comes to me. I have dealt with great stressed concerning my mother's health and have long prolonged discussions with the best doctors in the so called AKUH where a surgeon was laughing at me then when he was proven wrong his senior doctor was notified of his big blunder he was about to make (long story), having said that I can't even take myself to a doctor.

I am not really thinking to take medicines for anything when I know my concern is for a reason.

I don't want a job where I am not considered a human, I am not machine and I have a family who deserves my time. My mother keeps coming back to pak for me and it really bugs me to see he cooking, washing and cleaning for me in this hot weather.

Sometimes we have to take big decisions, we have to let something go to acquire something better. Sometimes we need to give ourselves a break.

This is the mercy of Allah he forgives you when you return towards him with no matter how big and deep the sin load is and then you see light showing you the way out there you also see the miracles happen.

When I wanted the change there were mountains of hurdles the even the unconcerned have an argument against me. I solicited the help from Almighty and found that even the one fully authorized to stop me was opening doors ahead of me to make me easy to board out.

It is never too late to ask from him and no sin is larger then his mercy. Ask him from the depth of your heart. Insha Allah you will get what you dream for even more that you even thought for.

Its unbelievable if I tell you that namaz is always on my mind but I don't know if its a curse or something that I always fail to keep up. You know what, when I was in 6th semester, my group was all sharaih guys with beard and I kept a beard. The guy I was used to combine study with was very strict about namaz, till the I was with him I had a beard and I was used to pray as long as I was with him. It was not like if I was showing of him anything to remain in the group but I really loved to but could never keep up when I was at home. I kept a beard taake kuch to sharam ajaye mujhe kyunke beard rakhna bhi aik bohat bari responsibility hai.. if you have a beard aur aap namaz nahin parhte to sabki nazron main aate hain even my family was sued to say ke darhi to rakhi hui hai magar namaz parhte nahin dekha

I have always started with farz only, so that I make a habit and then moved to a full version but that too never remain there. Tried so so many times but to no use.

do you play some good sport regularly.. if you dont then start it immediately and there are good chances that you ll feel refreshed..

By good sport i mean a sports activity that makes you tired quickly..
I dont consider street cricket a good sport activity..
What i mean is sport like foot ball, squash, badminton, basket ball lawn tennis etc..

or you may opt for athletic activities like jogging, swimming, cycling.. but they are a bit boring than the sports.. although much better for the health

Just give all you have to your colleagues with a happy heart without expecting even a small portion of that in return, I bet you will be surprised by the love & sincerity you will receive from everyone around you in return. As per my little experience, only those people complain about selfishness of others who have some selfishness hidden somewhere at the core of their heart.

Its a long story about my personal experience but to cut it short, yes it was my fault. I gave someone more than what he could handle so I got truck load of sh** on me. If you're good your colleagues will make use of you until you start arguing and saying NO.
