26 is very young age man, you should not worry. Instead focus on settling down and find the app person very carefully. Something which is not difficult if the family support is there...Choosing the right career is an extremely difficult decision and some people waste their whole lives in decision making process. But at the end of the day many settle down against their beliefs due to requirements/pressure and have to provide for their families. Make realistic plans in your life and you need to focus on building brick by brick. Believe me I learnt all this the hard way....

I started my career working in shifts in WorldCaLL. Worked for couple of months in nights mainly because of dispute between me and line manager. Do you know what was my wedding gift from company? Termination letter on the day of my wedding (which my dad never showed me) because my line manager never processed the leave application to HR saying he never got it. All of this experience only made me strong.

I don't want to find a job in Karachi right now, I am focusing on finding a job in Dubai. I am planning on going on a visit after ramzan probably. Its really tough for me to decide if I have to let this job go, I would need your help if I resign from here and God forbid don't find a job in Dubai. See my detailed reply in a bit.

This what I am trying to focus now. I have to take a step now or I will be stuck in here for another 1-2 years. I don't have issues with the money alhamdulillah and my family is very supportive, my family has told me, "take your decision, if you want to resign do it, up to you".

The only concern I have right now is the gap in the CV for the period of time I will be jobless, other than that there is none.

yar almost everyone hv bad or tough experiences in their starting careers ... my first job was in a software house and at that time i thought it was a dream job ...but i was forced to quit only after 8 months .. i was so upset and thought will never find a job like this again ...after 2,3 months i got a job and guess what .... the boss was an a$$whole .... he just fired 3 peoples and appointed only me ... i hv a lot of work pressure, new place, new people and never had an experience of working in strict professional environment ... i hv to reach at sharp 8:45 am and there was no return timmings .... usually got off with the guard of the office around 11:30 pm ...it was almost 14+ hr every day ... last but not least i didn't even got the appointment letter ..only working on my boss verbal assurance ...he didn't even issue me a parking card and because of that my bike got stolen outside of the office as there were no guards outside after 8 pm ...my frnds and family advised me to leave this job ASAP ..that was a critical time for me ..i hv no social life left as i used to stuck in the office for entire day/night and reaches home at sleeping time ... but despite all of this i took it as a challenge and refused to quit ... i believed that its a very good organization with future growth possibilities, despite of some a$$whole people and how long they gonna exist ... every one laughed at me at that time ... my family used to give examples of different people ...woh dekho kitne acchay bank mein hai 5 bajay off hoajata hai ..saturday bhi off hai and bla bla ... but i took my own decision and was ready for the outcome ... so i worked my a$$ off and after 8 months i got my first achievement ..The Appointment Letter ... lolxxxx ....cut the long story short ... that manager got fired too .. i got every thing i deserved in the passage of time ...Allhamdulillah ... and now i think it's a dream job one can get and that software house job was crap ... lolxxx... i now strongly believe that whatever Allah does .. its for our best ...all u hv to do is just believe in Allah and thank him whatever comes around ..... because if i was not forced to quit my first job i would never get this vast experience and knowledge and learning possibilities and still wasting my time in useless jobs ... just think how lucky we are that we are born muslims ... we didn't hv to do anything yet we don't thank Allah ..we hesitate to offer prayers ...

You saw a light at then end of the tunnel, you were hopeful that if you pass this critical time in this organization you will be acknowledged one day. You saw future growth within the organization, you were learning something, work pressure means you had something to do but what if you are sidelined from the core work and only left to browse the internet?

BTW I am confused now if I resign or not. Thinking to spend a little more time here and do things that I never tried before. Of course if I have to leave then I shouldn't leave just like that.

bro that's exactly why i told u to leave ur job ...u r not sure about future growth and u r not even got paid on time ...... just to tell u ..back then i always got the salary on time ...even without an appointment letter ... in my view ur job scenario is really bad ......i don't think u can complete ur certification while doing this job ...the timings and the stress related to this job would never let it happen ... u should seriously consider to complete ur certification before doing anything else ... it should be ur first priority right now ...
