In fulfilling the dream, at last Tesla reveals production version of Model 3 and first 30 cars were delivered.
Two versions will be available a standard and a long range.
Standard will come with driving range of 354km and 0 to 60mph in 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 209km/h.
The long range model will come with 498km driving range and 0-60mph in 5.1 seconds and a top speed of 225km/h.
chassis use double wishbones for the front and a multilink suspension for the rear
standard model starts at USD-35k while long range at USD-44k. Tesla Autopilot can be added at an additional cost of 5000 while dual motor option is also available.
The prices are before federal tax credit of $7500. States gives additional tax break of few thousand dollars.
Tesla has pre-order of half a million of Model 3 at this time.
