which V8 ? such as ?
my cousin bought a 20 year 1996 surf with a V6 for 18 lacs. but then again, thats a rusted 20 year old jeep, it spends every second day in a workshop
a new 2016 model v8 for 40 lacs ? im sorry ,even the baseline Audi A4 with a inline 4 cyl will set you back atleast 6+ mil here, a v6 hybrid harrier, atleast 6.5 mil, same for lexus RX 450
for 4 mil, your best bet is a 2500cc 4 cyl camry hybrid , i dont see any V8, let alone a V6 in this price range . further, i dont see how a german V8 is more friendly to the environment, it emits emissions twice as much a normal golf gti, maybe it has good cat converts to minimize NOx and SOx , yet end of the day, every engine WILL emit COx no matter what and that is what raises global temps
point is, big engine cars are now a Pain In the a.ss to own in most of the world, paris environment summit this year made sure that signatory govts levy taxes at a much higher bracket on them wherein relief is given to EVs and hybrids. all over the world, govt now encourage EVs /hybrids. public charging ports in barca, london, paris/LA and tokyo are becoming the norm . toyota is even working on induction wireless charging although i do wsh they ditch the mirai fuel cell and come to EV
50 years ? nissan has already sold 200,000 Leaf ev's all over the world, audi , VW and toyota are all terrified of tesla . automotive industry experts reckon that by 2020 , 3-4 % of all car sold will be EVs, by 2025, this will go beyond 10% .
the only problem with EVs right now is the energy density of batteries, but then, like every new tech, there are snags followed by moore's law.
i see a huge surge in EVs in the coming time ,
