Now story of the night in the words of a 'majnoon' (H)

Personnel at every check post were looking at us that if we had horns on our head. 'Who are these people driving on this highway at midnight?' :o
When we entered Gwadar, it was almost 2.00 AM. It looked like a ghost town. Even dogs were not there to welcome us. They had their duty off at that time. One car on the roads of a town where we had never been before. Roaming around the city in search of hotel but didn?t find any. At last, tried our last card and headed for PC Gwadar on top of the hill. Our only guide at that time was GPS on Kashif's mobile.
Eventually, reached at the gate of PC Gwadar but again found a twist in the story.
They don't allow anyone after 11.00 PM. It was followed by a small 'dharna' at the main gate. But the fate of this dharna was not different from .... :'(
Now thinking, where to camp ? Ustaad jee was in a mood to camp beside the main gate of PC in protest. But we were trying to find some rest.

We have heard the name of Marjaan hotel from a couple of guys but had no idea about its location.
Near PC we found a couple of stairs going up a rock, ending up at a ‘Ghost Haveli’ type structure. It was almost 2.30 AM .
We picked our stuff and entered that ‘Haunted Haveli’. It was a deserted structure with zigzag architecture, broken front doors, pitch dark inside, no light on, not a single soul around. The only presence was moonlight and the cool breeze. A perfect recipe of a haunted movie.
Peeping through every door, shouting, yelling, what else? :o
No reply ! At the end of search operation, we were all disappointed. Nowhere else to go ! What should we do now ???
We were so tired that we didn’t have the energy to get back to the car. Ustaad jee set the sleeping bags at reception and we got ready to sleep. ‘Ab jo bhi ho, daikha jaey ga’. Even if we have encountered a ghost at that time, we would have replied ; ‘Abay chal ! Subah daikhain gey’

But !!!
It was not over yet ! there was one twist remaining in the thriller.
Suddenly we realized that we were three ! one of us is missing !!! Felt a chill down the spine.
Sardar jee was lost ! Now again the search operation started . First we were yelling ‘Koi hy’? Now ; ‘Asim bhai’? Even searched the roof of hotel but no sign. There was a broken wall at the left, leading to a couple of servant quarters. Suddenly we felt a ‘spooky silhouette’ moving through quarters in our direction. Only white hair and white beard were shining in the moonlight and it was moving slowly towards us. Now three of us were considering the options ;
1. Scream ?
2. Run ?
3. Or faint ?
Ultimately we didn’t have enough energy to consider the first two options, so the only option left was the third one. In the mean time that thing passed through the broken wall and came near us. Then we realized that we have already seen him somewhere. Phew…. It was Sardar jee.
At the end of the climax we moved towards lobby and now that was the right time to scream ! We gathered our senses and came to know that it was the caretaker, appeared out of the blue. We later realized that if we had seen him in day light, we would’ve screamed harder.
And again he excused to provide us a room. What next ? But this time we didn’t gave him an option to refuse and grabbed a room without letting him think. Threw our stuff in the room and hit the sack leaving no room for another twist.
One thing worth mentioning here, although the building was spooky but the scene from balcony was breath taking. We were on the top of a flat hill and whole Gwadar was shinning down there in city lights. It is naturally build in ‘T’ shape and what a view it was presenting before us. Looks like the city was welcoming us with open arms. Unfortunately, we were so much drained that we didn’t have the energy to take out camera and click.

At last, after a deep sleep, I was a good morning. While party was still in bed, I grabbed the camera for some morning shots of surrounding.

It was not that bad.
