Any way, we were relaxing at the only roadside restaurant outside the town. Sipping the tea and enjoying the scenery in dark.
It was a full moon night. The moon was spreading his light all over, tarnishing the twinkling stars. The window behind us opened towards the beach, filling up the hotel with cool breeze.
Ustaad jee and Sardar jee, laying and lying on the hotel carpets, as they had nothing else to do.
Me and Kashif hanging in the window with our eyes wide open, trying to capture beauty of the scene in dark. Gazing at the stars which were not visible due to moonlight but the number of fishing boats, spread beside the horizon were twinkling with their head lights, had replaced the stars show.
We stood there for some time, trying to capture it with our eyes. Inhaling the cool breeze and hearing the splash of waves and our hearts; flying beyond the horizon.
Kuch to Hawa bhi Sard thi, Kuch tha Tera khayal bhi,
Dil ko Khushi ke sath sath, Hota raha Malal bhi.
Baat Wo aadhi Raat ki, Raat Wo Pore Chand ki,
Chand bhi ain Chait ka, Uss pe Tera Jamal bhi.
Dil to Chamak sake ga kya,Phir bhi Taraash ke dekh lo,
Shishaa Garan-e-shahar ke, Hathon ka Ye Kamal bhi.
Shaam ki Nasamajh Hawa, Puuch rahi hai ek Pata.
Mauj-e-Hawa-e-ku-e-Yaar, Kuch to Mera Khayaal bhi.
