I wanted 2 share importance of such type of incidences & lack of public awareness & pathetic behaiour ..
Death of a person is no doubt happens how it is written or suppose to happen but .........
need opinions guys...

We as a nation have developed intense behaviours, both parties shown this. We've forgotten the role which 'Taqdeer' plays in our lives.

we are animals, this behaviour was last seen in 15th century in france before the bloody revolution. so I expect either a bloody revolution in pak or pak being invaded by its enemies

very sad incident just like your comments. it was an emergency brother and nothing is more important than saving a life in emergency, no **** rules when its about a HUMAN LIFE.

Keep in mind, in that situation when you are hurry for an emergency you break the laws, to save a life, they wardons must have to allow them to go to hospital, and kept the documents with them.

Anyways, Sad news. I was shocked yesterday while watching the news on TV.

i think warden is right that they came back after the person died because there was no reason to impound the car on breaking signal he had already made the chalaan ... . .... IN THE WHOLE WORLD THERE IS NO RULE TO CARRY ILL PERSON IN UR BACK SEAT AND BREAK AROUND THE SIGNALS .... that's what ambulances made for ...one can easily kill others by breaking the signal to save his own person ..how would u justify that... in other countries people prosecuted even when they went through the red lights to let the ambulance through.....

but i dont expect any revolution.
we all (including me) have become dheeth. we will never rise up. this is why we have leaders like Zaradri. We deserve them. Jesi qom waisay hukmaran.
pakistan is a lost cause unfortunately
we can do all talks on these forums, have long debates on TVs but until we stop waiting for a miracle and start taking matters in our own hands nothing will happen. When pakistani awam will not wait for others to rise up but instead every person will rise up himself then we will see a revolution. but for the foreseeable future all i see is hyper inflation and us awam doing nothing but complaining

i was in same situation like this abt 2 years back... my 1-half year old niece started to have serious breathing problem... i was on in Canal View society in some one house... i drove very rash to reach Children Hospital... when i reached Frezpur road after crossing Kalma Chowk, i found an Ambulance of Children Hospital going very fast towards hospital ... i started following it with gap of 05-10 meters, at speed of 110 - 120 km/hr.... our signal was closed but ambulance did'nt stopped so do I,
a motorcycle on Left side (who's signal was opened) did'nt saw ma car, as i was just on tail of Ambulance... he crossed Ambulance from back and came in front of me... ma speed was extreme... i saved him with too much difficulties... and reliezed ma mistake than and there.... slow down ma car to 60 k/hr.... from that day...

i have learn't to keep control over our emotions.... LIVES are valuable for everyone, not only of our relatives... so we have no right to break laws to save lives of our close ones and risks other peoples life....

so wat ur saying is that, we shud not break laws to save someone who is already doomed, because doing so wud result in other people who have better chances of survival being harmed/killed..?

May Allah save us from such situation but if the patient has got heart attack or brain hemorrhage then each second is vital for saving his/her life, so waiting for the green light in that case can become fatal, so in such case breaking red light carefully would be the right option.

warden is right these jahils are wrong,and the jahilest of them all is the reporter who is also trying to prove the warden as the wrong one,afterall he didnt stopped an ambulance

yes we can... but i have been in the above situation... and i feel current running ma body when i think, that wat if couldnt saved that Motorcyclist ..... so wat in my Opinion i could say we better keep ourselves calm and try that emotions dont overcome us...

my point exactly ... one can't become chuck norris and breaks signals crash bikers, cars he see in his way to save his close ones ... Ambulances are there use them they have professional drivers, sirens and hooters to alert people even if they break the signal ... in pvt. car no one can notice that this car has a patient and it's about to breaking the signal .... which can turn into disaster ....

According to details, a traffic officer namely Muhammad Asif (Okara-2816) was discharging his duties near Anarkali Chowk when he intercepted a black Corolla (LED-7856) at about 6:20pm. The car carrying five persons violated a traffic signal near National College of Arts. The warden chased the car, who managed to intercept them at Anarkali Chowk. An eyewitness said that about five persons including two women and three men (one patient) were sitting in the car. He said the warden issued them a challan and let them go due to their emergency.
“After passage of 25 minutes, one of my colleagues approached me and informed a few persons in a black car were searching me as their patient had died due to my negligence, as per their claim,” the warden told the reporters on the spot.
According to several eyewitnesses, a few men gathered on the spot, captured the warden and victimised him of severe torture.

Whatever happened with the warden was 100% correct. Infact his bones should have been broken so that he remember this for the rest of his life. A patient was dying and the ******* was asserting his authority.

we have loop holes on both sides..... our Nation is totally careless about Life of other peoples... on the other hand our Govt is properly Misusing non-sense of Nation.

There must be some proper trainings for Police wardens how to handle these types of situations.. there could be way's out... he could have just taken the person ID card or Car book and ask them to return back after droping patient to Hospital... or other ways...

on the hand we need to train our Peoples as well, how to drive and how to handle emergencies on road...

in other countries use Hazard Signals in case of Emergency and cars with Hazard Signals (Double Indicators) are given way.....

(IN PAKISTAN WE USE HAZARD LIGHTS TO LET PEOPLE KNOW THAT WE ARE FOLLOWING DULHA'S CAR)

In other countries they use Dippers to give way to others - IN PAKISTAN WE GIVE DIPPERS TO TAKE WAY FROM OTHERS) We are totally different nation!!!!

We need to Grow-UP!!! - Seriously!
