Income Tax Certificate

Hi All, I need to know one thing and will appreciate if anyone can help.
I need to submit the proof advance income tax i have paid for this fiscal year to my office and get my income tax adjusted. They require income tax certificate. Now from where can i get the income tax certificate against the advance income tax i have paid on my cars (i.e. advance income tax in yearly token).

I though of giving them a photo copy of token and registration and it is written on registration that how much income tax is part of token but the problem is that token was revised in 2008 and i have 2007 model, so it shows income tax as Rs 1500 while in actual now the income tax is i think 3000 or 3500 in my token.

Please help.

I think first of all you need to get the NTN certificate. Go to Federal Board of Revenue Islamic Republic of Pakistan and apply online.

Secondly, I purchased my car in June 2010 and at the time of registration, I paid the advance income tax and wrote my NTN ... thereafter, I submitted my income tax return and included the information regarding payment of advance income tax. However, I have not received the reimbursement of tax over and above the due figures

I already have a NTN, and i will not be filing myself for tax return. Maybe others can help but like u mentioned, i hear that people do not get reimbursements. I need certificate to show it to my office accounts department and then they will adjust my tax for the remaining months of this fiscal year.

Yes i thought about that, but my registration is of 2007 and lists the old token amount when token for 1300 was just Rs 2750. I have the token slips but it does not mention the break down of token amount.
