Increasing car height

I have heard that car can be lifted up a little bit with some modification next to the rear wheels...can somebody explain and the good/bad points also?

yeah it can b....they put a steer ring tyre of thing under the suspension coils(spring) measuring upto 2-3 inches or less,nd it increases the real height.

in pakistan they is fitting aluminum spacer on top of shock to increase height, not safest thing to doing but it helping raise car on CNG.

this is being better than fitting big spring.

if you recently installed CNG in your ride then go for Spacers on Orignal coil springs dont go for that CNG springs they'll fu** up your braking

i sure you are aware that in Pakistan many car is on CNG, cylinder weigh alot so car sitting too low on back, this is why they fitting spacer.

guys i have honda city 1997,cng fitted,and now i put base tube with two woofers in one tube,mere car ki height kafi low ho gai hai,aur speed brakers per kafi lagthi hai,aap log mere help karain ke main kya karoon?aur kitni paise lagain gai?

It is better to replace the spring, then to use the spacer for increase the height, becuse ur existing spring already compressed with cng cylender's weight and they lost their flexibility,when u use spacer it just increases the body height & the springs remain in compressed position,which causing ride discomfort and severe damaged to suspension system due to lack of ability to absorb shocks.So it is better to replace the springs with O.E grade cng springs easily available in market.

cylinder weight is max 60, 65 kg. i don't think its gona effect the springs or compress them permanently. just put spacers and they work fine. don't know about the cost but they should not be very expensive. should be around 400-500 max.

i got spacers made of thick tire rubber in my daewoo but i don't think those are available anymore.

metallic spacers produce a thud if you pass over speed brakers at high speed, but the rubber ones don't do that.
