Indash entertainment for Altis grande 2020 (USA Model )

Dear Folks ,
is it possible to install USA Corolla in dash entertainment in Pakistani Altis , if so how to check the dimensions and will the steering buttons work with the USA system .

I can't find the information in the manual , and Toyota is shut down , secondly will it void the warranty ?

Most probably bolt on fit, the radio might work aswell. Maybe the user controls are designed for left hand drive.

Other than that everything should be grip to grip fit

thanks murtaza , any idea how to get exact fit (brand name )with Better quality speakers(JBL) , and apple play system which will support steering buttons , local buy or get it from overseas ?

Try to get the whole entertainment system from abroad.
People here are fans of Android LCD's that look like and work like shit.

yes , but I wouldn't prefer bolting the screen and loosing steering control , will look for a compatible system , the iPhone needs to sync every time when you leave vehicle . and the sound quality is not good enough .

What software are you getting from the US?

The steering controls are mostly grip and play. In the bad case. Try to get the grips aswell.

well, Murtaza , I am waiting Toyota to open or get answers here at Pakwheel , like warrant getting void etc , then going to work on which model to buy , but your suggestion is appreciated , will get the grips too , I am looking at system used in 2020 Corolla USA variant .Do tell me about speakers n small ones on the door , what's it called tweeters ?shall I get em too , I never bought after market systems , always Jdmz ,

Yes agree these android players are pathetic ancd cheap. They have pathetic sound quality.
Indus puts these android players because they are cheap but people in Pakistan thinks that they are more costly than international Toyota head units.

But Truth is that all over the world companys put oem head units whose sound processing units are made by some autuntic companies like Panasonic or Pioneer or JVC.

Thus they have excellent sound quality and are quick.

First intall a usa or Thailand version of Toyota head unit or even any universal XL size pioneer or other well known brand Hu

You will feel that problem is not with speakers buy the only problem is cheap HU

AoA brother...can you please let me know that which system are you hoping to put in? The US 2020 corolla comes with 2 versions of entertainment systems. One is the standard 8 inch with the six speaker configuration, and the premium one is JBL system (8 inch)which has 9 speakers, amp and sub preinstalled. In addition to that the setup on the USA corolla has got the entertainment system installed like a popup screen (pic attached) which I think you wont he able to install in your car like plug and play because of many factors (mounting depth, width etc). Moreover, the system in the 2020 US Corolla is made by JBL for the specific model and dash shape etc. which you wont be able to replicate in your car or tweak much according to your likings.

Now @ashfaqad if you can tell me your budget and what sort of a system are you aiming to build I can suggest you the stuff which you can find in Pakistan or you can get imported.

@cuties4ba Thanks Malik Bhai , I was gonna go for the premium one , but in dash , not the pop one , but you probably right , that's why I posted for advice here , budget is not an issue as long as its in 100 k range

I am also looking for a wide angle reverse cam , like the ones made by alpine usa .150 degree at least, I had a 2011 prius , it had wide angle rear view camera with dynamic directional lines .( don't know if I am using the right description for this ), so to my understanding alpine system with alpine camera will do the task.
Need your suggestion .

100k just for the Head Unit or the complete sound system?

You can have a pretty good sound system for 100k. Go for any HU by Pioneer or Sony. Coaxials for the rear 6x9 and components for the front. All of this hooked up to a good amp. Tell me...are you planning to install a sub aswell? I can suggest you the exact models for everything.

You can get a wide angle camera easily with any of the systems but I am not sure if you can have dynamic scale lines. But yes, a wide angle camera can be found easily.
