This trip or if I can call it a challenge I took in the month of July when all through out the north India we have good amount of rains. It was challenging due to many reasons, firstly, because I was taking my newly bought VW Polo to a remote and tough terrain. The nearest service centre would be minimum 300 km away in the town of Mandi from the place we were heading to called Shoja, a small..a very small hamlet tucked into the lush green Himalayan ranges.
Secondly this time we had a baby with us of my friend. We were total 5 travelers Me, my two best friends Prashant and Rohit and the wife and kid of Prashant.
Interestingly we were not well equipped with the things that we would have to encounter on a trip of a life time.
First please enjoy few of the pics to begin with...Enjoy
The one making efforts to move forward in the rain coat is me. And that pic and the road behind is sufficient to give idea the kind of terrain we had to face at an elevation of 11000 ft above sea level that too in bulky VW. The above pics are of village shoja IN Kullu district of Himachal. It is about 520 km from Delhi.
