I contacted my dealer regarding the new infotainment system and he assured me that the car has Apple CarPlay which I find hard to believe. Could anyone who has the new AVN Elantra kindly confirm?

No Apple Carplay in new AVN. Its android based

Android units have some kind of screen casting, it's not car play.
