Information required for bike tour from KHI to northern areas

I am thinking to buy YBR 125G and then head to the northern areas. This bike touring idea popped up a few days after I read all the amazing stories on this forum.
Please guide me which will be the best time to visit and which places to visit and which routes to take.

Until now I am all solo. Planning a trip in the next few months.

I think you should binge watch this channel. The owner of the channel is a biker from Karachi who has done many tours to northern areas of Pakistan using a YBR-125G. You will find his videos very useful and I have singled out one particular video that specifically has tips for riders doing group tours from Karachi. I hope you will find these useful.

@zohaibbaslam, in my opinion skip winter and wait for summer, bike riding in winter is little bit risky specially if this is your first tour.

If you are new biker or have no experience, then start with interior Sindh or Balochistan by doing Short tour for a day or two.

Like Gorakh Hills, Ranikot Fort etc in Sindh.

And Moola Chotok, Kund Malir etc in Balochistan.

Otherwise you can go through any tour operator.

Zohaib welcome to Pakwheels first of all welcome to the family. First you need to learn about bike mechanics and how to execute your trip plan if you have both of knowledge then you will get through many circumstances. You should make some short trips its gives you alot if ideas about travelling and if you had done any mistake while travelling you will learn many things from it rest @vickytulla @aks_e_ahmed @tamour can guide you well.

• first of all solo trip for a first timer is not really recomnded
• secondly to visot northern areas the time is already up and most places ae get covered under white cloak in matter of days now..
• if u r from KHI then the season about to start is best to explore areas nearby KHI try getting hands on to that .

Hi Zohaib Aslam,
I also love bike traveling. It is more than interesting. I don't encourage you to head to northern areas on bike singly. These areas are so beautiful, so enchanting, how you will express your grateful feelings when you are alone. Better to take some fellow friend who is interested in such adventurous tours.
Moreover, brand new bike will be fine for traveling to northern areas as compared to the used one.
Before starting your journey, make sure the route you will go by is smooth and not risky.
Must take short trips on bike before heading to a long one.
