Injector Servicing for Vigo 2KD-FTV

Assalam-u-Alayikum brothers,
I own a Vigo Champ 2.5 Manual and am getting its injectors serviced at 187k kilometres. However, the mechanic is telling me that injectors components might need replacement so it is a very expensive service and I’m questioning whether it would be fruitful or not and please let me know how much should it cost for this service.

I’m from Karachi
He says that, the car feels extremely sluggish and there’s very poor fuel average, which it is. Moreover, I also got its regular servicing a while ago despite that the car feels that way

Sir I was experiencing poor mileage and the car feels underpowered.
However, there are no check engine lights etc. just a ton of black smoke if I accelerate despite servicing each and everything(diesel filter, fuel filter, air filter,etc)
Furthermore, the mechanic is just saying to service the injectors not replace. He says it might cost around 40k and I think it’s too much.
Upon enquiring he tells me there are some components of the injectors that might need replacement. IF NEEDED ONLY THEN

Also I must mention that the car was left rotting in a corner for a good amount of time(around 8-10 months) before I got my hands on it.

mechanic changed oil to delo
serviced injectors
made it better to acceptable level
paid 20-21kk for oil change+ injector service
