Installation Of Additional Horn in Yaris GLI CVTI

Dear Members, I want to install an additional horn in my Yaris GLI CVTI as the factory-installed single horn is insufficient for Karachi traffic. Electricians suggest cutting wires, but I prefer a grip-to-grip connection. Can anyone recommend a reliable place in Karachi for this installation?

Goto your Toyota showroom / Dealer and tell them to add the other horn H or L which ever is missing. They can do if for you grip to grip.

I dont think Yaris even has the provision for another horn in the wiring, the only safe way would be to add a relayed pair of horns or you may have burnt wiring at the front of the car, toyota usually split the horns as one on front and one under a headlamp for small cars. If they provided the wiring then that wiring plug will be there.

US corollas are like this too, I install an additional relay kit as the factory additional wiring is very prohibitively expensive,

Relay plus twin fiamm horns and job done, charge is 1 or 2 hrs at max

Should require a relay if the horns are 2 wire system like the ones on a old Suzuki.

If it's a single wire earth from body. Theirs a attachment available in the market that can make single wire > 2 separate positive currect wires.

Yes all toyotas with Single horns don't have a provision for a second horn from factory wire cut is required, else the attachment makes life easier. The orignal current is sufficient to power both the horns. Unless you want truck horn sound.

I'm driving a Honda City before 2021 it came with a single horn but has a provision/ Wire for another horn too.

Did the same for my Suzuki Cultus sliced the original wire made connections added a Bosch set of horns
