Every ignition coil has different spec's and dwell time.
Dwell time is the time coil takes to fully charge and create spark with respect to battery voltages.
Dwell time is mapped inside the ecu. If you install a coil of different dwell time it will not turn on and off when ecu want's it to, thus effects the ignition timing.
So you cannot change them until they are interchanged by the manufacturer.
Fuel injectors have dwell time as well.
