Installing fan for condenser in cuore

Dear fellows i am thinking that does anyone installed a fan on condenser of cuore or any other car with same setup. if this is done will this make a difference in cooling or at least cooling system will have to work less? my cuore's AC is working good but i want to do this to make it even better and also car's ac system will have to work less. currently there is only one fan behind radiator that works continuously when ac is on. i am thinking that condenser has almost no benefit from this fan. also my car runs daily for 20km at speed of 20-50 km/hr. your opinion matters and your experience is most welcome.

buy a radiator with three line piping, put a good quality coolant and make the fan direct in summers, it is the only solution to get better cooling from a coure!

cuore has paper thin sheet metal and no insulation what so ever...

try lining the entire internal body with 1/2 inch thick foam sheets. inside the door. below the carpet. roof insides etc...

the amount of sunlight entering through the glass negates the cooling effect... tints would help but they are illegal..

never go for direct fan... its stupidity...

If AC is running fine then don't install another Fan.
Radiator fan also helps the condenser to drop some temperature.

Three line piping radiator increase thickness and it will be difficult for fan to suck the air through condenser and thick radiator???

i have seen with condensor fan in cuore seems like corolla c0ndenser fan

my cuore has mira's thick plastic door panels. cooling is already good. also i have black cloth shades for windows. and its radiator fan works like direct when A/C is on i.e. works continuously what i want is some tweak and extra performance and lesser load on A/C system. anyway thanks for suggestions.

check the ac gas pressure... refill if its low...

also incidently where did you procure the mira door trims? did you get power windows etc as well? how much did it cost you?

Get rid of the POS fan that comes from the factory, get a proper fan that can move serious air, make air ducts in the front bumper in a way that all air in front of the condenser actually gets pushed through it not exhaust around it, under it or over it. Ensure that you have the original plastic liners in the doors - they stop a lot of heat, Make sure your roof insulation is not tattered beneath the roof liner ( it can happen)

remember that your car was built to be cheap as possible - most stuff was left out to reduce cost.

@nfssaad have changed condenser few days back and gas has been recharged. electrician serviced all A/C system. washed interior items with water. all pipes were washed with petrol. oil added to compressor etc. door panels were installed by previous owner so i have no info on that. but these and other mira items are easily available in scrap yards.

thats the point. it is a value car and manufacturer has tried everything to save cost. its cooling is good because cabin is small but can be improved for sure.
fan is already of good quality and powerful one. door panels have towel like cloth on outside and form on inside .
yes i have to make air ducts in front bumper to direct air to flow through condenser. any ideas on that. roof lining is ok but it is of bad quality(original). i am trying to find some clues on how to change roof lining to a better one. i.e. items required for it and process

I also own a cuore 2002, its ACs performance is far better than anyother car of this power, you have had very good suggestions one of which is to insulate your car as much as possible, I also did so, plastic sheet which is laid under the carpets is a really good and cheap way. I insulated my cars' floor it cost me about 300 rs (did it at home) if yours is a newer model say 2009-2010 it came with better insulations. other wise get it insulated.

I also saw a coure insallted with a fan on condensor, talked with its owner he said the results were faboulous, since our cars mostly run in city areas on lower speeds and do not get propper air on radiators and condensors it is a good idea, last year checked with an electrician he asked for Rs 2000 it included a good quality fan plus his fee.

Yaar i did this in my cuore didn't make a difference , the best way is to keep ur radiator clean and filled with coolant and check the water level preferably every morning

radiator is new and filled with coolant. high power fan is installed i check water level after few weeks and it is always same.

the liner Im talking about is the plastic skin that is glued to the door metal frame behind the panels. And NO the original fan motor is not powerful - its a joke at best. Get a proper fan motor like the Bosch and Gate ones installed on a mercedes condenser. When they hit max cooling mode the car starts to sound like aircraft.

You can buy a SPAL branded fan in the scrappie yard and install it if you are creative. Make sure to make a good thick wiring harness for it too otherwise it can melt your original thin wiring. For ducts get sheets of ABS plastic and cut to size, for template make it out of cardboard, Its really easy on a cuore.

the fan in my auto cuore is a pull type fan.. it has a shroud which is matched to the denso aluminum radiator. the ac condensor is directly in front of the radiator..

how would ducting help in this case?

yes my cuore's radiator fan is powerful and its not stock :). its sounds more than engine. my cuore is a 2005 CX but there is no ducting on condenser thanks to previous owner. what i am understanding is that ducting should be of two types: 1- between radiator and condenser so that fan must suck air through condenser 2- ducting to make air from front pass through condenser. also no extra fan on condenser is required if this is done i think.

Although my alto's AC cooling is better enough when car moving with speed but in city and on signals it generally used to loose her cooling.
My electrician installed a fan in front of radiator/condenser which improved the cooling in city tremendously. Anyhow this change did not make a bigger difference in speed.
This additional fan turns ON with AC. Now the vehicle maintain its cooling even if it remains in direct sun light without moving.
