Installing of new khyber engine

I have excellent khyber. Body is very good but engine has gone week. I am considering replacement of new khyber engine.

Please suggest is it possible to find new engine. And from where it could be found

i wont suggest u 2 go for stock engine.
go for g13b or g15.

go for rebuilding/over hauling with genuine parts!! satisfaction and less hassle!!

If this is the first time that the engine is going for an overhaul then overhaul it.
If it has been overhauled before then get another one.
You wont be able to find a new g10 carburetor based engine.
You'll have to find it from scrapyards such as Shoba baazar in Peshawar, Bilalgunj in Lahore and Sultan-ka-khu or Mithou Khan in Saddar.
Other possible options include the g10b from Cultus, g13b or g15a.

what exactly has gone wrong with the original G10 engine, noise, oil consumption, low compression?

before you let your mechanic tear it apart and replace everything on your expense, have a thorough diagnosis done on it, like compression and oil pressure testing at least - then take your step, most probably your cylinder head only needs reworking.

In most of the cases only head needs work but these local mechanics tear apart the complete engine and then rebuild it.

these are 1300cc nd 1500 cc ngines of suzuki.
these can be installed in swift nd at present there are many guys who ev done the swap of these motors under the hood.
a pw member here (rozzzzz) can perfctly guide u about this cz he has swaped a g15 in his khyber which is perfctly running.

It was a 3 cyl. SOHC engine generating power around 50hp.

g13b is a 4cyl. 16valve DOHC engine producing around 130hp.
This engine came in international market in 80,s in Suzuki Swift.

g15a is a 4cyl. 16valve SOHC engine that came in Suzuki Esteem/Baleno, Suzuki APV and in Suzuki Vitara.
This engine generated around 100hp on stock internals.

Both the g13b and g15a engines are a bolt on swap with minor alterations in Khyber.

with an upgraded and heavier engine you need to stiffen up the frame and invest in some nicer brakes too.

Yar then guide me k kia karun. my car eats oil but not too much. if i accelerates it more and drive fast more than 80 km it eats oil . otherwise not, if i drive slow(may b eat oil verry little if i drive slowly). now if go to mechanic he will definitely rebuild it completely. and changed al parts with out seeing which is in woriking condition.

Get the CR test done of your engine before starting of with the complete rebuild.

g15a complete setup with uncut wiring and gearbox should be around 60k.
Not sure about the availibility of g13b in good condition, but if available then it should also be in the same price range.
