Internet options in Phase 4, Bahria Town

Just to clarify, I'm assuming you are referring to PTCL doing all this digging then not Nayatel right?

Recently moved from the UK and finding Internet speeds increasingly frustrating!!

they are not allowing nayatel to come in our phases. politics etc

So I went to the ptcl exchange yesterday as I was getting nowhere with phonecalls. Spoke to Faiz and Abu Bakar the only 2 guys who seem to actually know what's going on. They informed me that some areas of phase 4 including civic centre have already started on gpon but that most of the streets esp near bahria heights 2 side will take another 1.5 to 2 months to get optical fibres laid.

Im really not keen to suffer with Zong that long but at least there is hope for quicker Internet!

Hi i live in Phase 3 so is there any update on GPON availability. I have been calling the exchange everytime i call them they say that it will take 2 to 3 months in deploying the fiber. They are just deteriorating me. I was using Nayatel when i was living with my family in f/6 and now here this shity ptcl is makeing me mad. Lag in games. Frequent disconnections. And slow downloading.

Yup, last time I went to exchange and they were like please come after Ramadan, and still no success. I'm using PTCL's sluggish connection, and it keeps disconnecting for no reason.

Update: GPON is available in Phase-3, and most probably the remaining phases as well. They did the installation and it's working like charm now.
