Interrogation.... 15w40 oil instead of 20w50 oil

salam to all pakwheelers,,,

currently i m using castrol gtx 20w50 ( cost 410rs) oil for my honda 125 1991......m getting a 4 lt rimula 15w40 from a frnd for free. is it ok if i use this oil for my bike,,,,my bike engine got overhauled ( pura engine bana tha ) 7 months before.

It as good as 20W. But it is little thinner in Viscosity.

thank you guys.... but will that thinner think ask my engine to make more noooise??? like those khachar pachar sounds..

No. It will not make any Noise. Trust the oil and pour it.

20W-50 Oils definately suppresess engine noises. Regardes of the performance, if u would switch to any 10W-40,15W-40 or 20W-40 Oil u will found it bit noisy for ur bike.One more thing i wud like add is Rimula is designed to be used is Diesel engines which have diffrent X tics (Though these multi grade oils also meets some of the standrds of spark ignited engines) but i it can harm the wet clutch system in motorbikes so i will say NO to use of Rimula in Motor bike engine.
