Introductory price of car of hyundai-nishat

Dear Sir,

We had booked 02 Hyundai Tucson cars with Hyundai-Nishat Motor (Pvt) Ltd, vide PBO Forms (attached herewith) on the very first day of opening of booking vide Booking No: 6 & 10 dated 12.8.20 at introductory prices, for which full payment was made through pay orders. At the time of booking, assurance was given that the delivery of the cars will be made within 6 days (ad. attached). But so far, we have not received the delivery of cars. Upon reminders, they informed that the delivery of the said cars will be made in October, 2020.

Now, there is a news circulating in the market that an additional payment of Rs 200,000/- will have to be paid by those who have made booking, before delivery of the cars. Since we had made full payment on the very first day of opening of the booking, and as per law, if a car has been booked at full prices, then the company has no right to demand price increase difference.

Now, it is very surprising to note that the company, Hyundai-Nishat Motor (Pvt) Ltd, Lahore, despite availing concessions under the Concessionary SRO, from the Government on import of CBUs/CKDs at concessionary rate of duty and taxes, is not providing cars at reasonable price to the public.

It is, therefore, requested that the matter may be taken up at the Standing Committee of Senate, and the Hyundai-Nishat Motor (Pvt) Ltd may be asked to deliver the cars to us immediately without demanding additional payment of Rs 200,000/- per car, so that the public, who have booked the cars, are saved from their clutches.

Dear, if it is there in written, black and white form, that vehicle will be delivered in 06 days, and no additional payment will be demanded, then for sure, the case is very strong and you might get the due favor.

However, if there is no such written commitment that vehicle will be delivered in 06 days, and on the PBO (or its back side), it is written that final price, which will be there at the time of delivery, will finally prevail, then I fear, the case becomes weak.
