Assalam o Alaikum brothers I'm looking to buy a new ups inverter for home use in Lahore in the 1500w to 1600w range. Went to metro today and the guy there said that now after homage started production in Pakistan their quality had gone down and it is better to go for hyundai's imported inverter which has some better tech that helps against over+discharging. Want some opinions from those who recently got an inverter.

Need the inverter latest by tomorrow as ramazan has just started and load shedding without ups while fasting is not too fun.

Theres no load shedding in lahore brother. Not in DHA atleast. Barely 1 hour a day maybe.

Members will guide you as i have no experience of running split on inverter or ups.

No i don't want to run ac on ups it's just that my ups just died today and i don't live in dha. I live in the wapda town area and due to some construction and maintenance work it's been 2 days the light goes out at around 9am and comes back around 3 to 4pm.

I bought a sinewave modified ups 3Kva it gives output of 2200 watts and is attached to 2 ags batteries.

I got it last year and trust me have had no problems with it.

It costs 30k and theres a guy at hall road who made 2 of my ups. It has an lcd showing load and charging modes.

He will take 2 days to make it so i dont know but im telling you ive been really happy with these ups. I have 1000 watt and 2200 watt.

If you want honest advice stick with normal sine wave ups.

Inverters once broken will give you loooooots of downtime.

Also please search for ups inverter threads and stay away from ABID and the Daktar.

And this is not the right thread to post. Search UPS and 2 main threads will show up. There u can be guided properly. But still this is what my friend is offering. Of course expensive due to good parts. But in the long run very safe. And durable and not expensive compared to others.

Abid make a ups in 2 days and 1 more half day to test every thing on it. So every ups is tested vigorously. And warranty of 1 year of transformer. I think.

Salam friends, I am buying lg inverter ac, please let me know that; is the model SV186TQ equipped with Enrgy Control option or not? And does all the 3 levels of energy control are working 40%, 60% and 80% or only 2 levels work 60% and 80%...and does the Ac works n cools even in Low voltage i.e : 170 or 180volts.
Secondly I want to know about the new model NT187SK3, does this model have energy control option and levels 40%60%80% all available or not pls note energy saving and gen mode is a different feature and here i am talking about energy control feature....
If you know other features available in this model pls let me know....for example : smart diagnosis....gen mode....wifi(thinQ)....4 way auto swing...LVS(low voltage startup)...etc.etc.

As far as i know hyundai inverter is now assembled in pak too... i have bought taiwan made ups named inverex...and here in khi their after sale service is v good i have had visited their showroom and got satisfied so i chose inverex ups...over homage appollo hyundai...etc and its fully imported and very good quality which attracts me And its been about 4 years and i am happy with it.
Only once in warranty period due to short circuit in main lines of nearby street by which neutral port of my house short circuited to phase wire and the inverex ups stoped working just after that with beep and loud humming noise (as it was on charging at that time). So i call and visited inverex showroom and due to well designed and engineered only the fuse was fused but they serviced the whole unit , power and few more buttons and variable speed cooling fan without any charges coz it was in warranty and its working smoothly uptil now.
One more thing they also have solar panel supported models too which is only few bugs 1000 or 2000 more. If u wish u can go for that but u will have to buy solar panels seperately.

Inverex inverter positive features :

Sine wave inverter gives smooth 205 to 225 volts depending on load given on ups in KW. By equalised volts the backup of battery is very gud.

Bcoz of fixed n smooth voltages the battery backup is really good as before that i had normal ups with the same battery but in full charge that old ups give 270 or 280 volts so we have had to give load for half hour to balance the output volts to get 240...250volts when battery fully charged...but by this the battery drains quickly and backup was not gud.

170 to 280 volts input for charging the battery. Wide range operational.

Alert and beeps when over loaded with appliances or when given with heavy load.
Alert on when electric supply resumes
Display shows battery volts...load...in watts in percentage....charging volts...floating mode...does not over charge the battery as floating mode current is not so high and battery life is increased as most ups over cook the battery while charging...
Over load protection which cuts off the ups power...
On solar ups...solar panel charges battery untill battery full then avail free power from ups....or u can charge battery in night by electric supply and get free energy in day time from solar panels.
Very compact and light weight as compared to old teen daba inverter units local made by small scale companies...(not talking about the branded one like homage hyundai) All the branded are compact and light weight.

Maybe other branded ones are also good as hyundai homage etc.. are also big brands but

The inverters you're talking about are actually from Voltronic Power. They are sold here with different brand labels. Just depends whose local company warranty you want.

I am actually searching for inverter for my solar system. I considered Axpert VM III 5.2 KW from Inverex, but when I looked at Voltronic Power website I could only find VM II 5 KVA. So I suspect Inverex has started making their own version locally.

Ok so it's been 3 days since I have installed haier inverter AC. And from yesterday I m not noticing a strange thing that when I turn on AC at 26c compressor starts and goes off after 5-10min even the outer fan. I don't why it's happening as inverter slows the compressor speeds to maintain cooling. By the way only at 26 and below it is doing this behavior. If I set it to 22-23 compresser goes slow after some time and cooling is good to. Why is happening pls guide?

Your haier may be working like my LG does which is why you feel warm.

To feel chill you need a room temp of 20-22C. Some ACS can get this done at 26 but some work on room temperature so if 26 is set then AC needs little work really because usually without ac temp is 29-30C.

You need a thermometer and clamp meter as advised earlier to see if there is a problem or not.

Any electrician shop will have a variety of clamp meters.

A clamp meter for 1000-1200 should last you a long time and give accurate readings.

The one I have is in abundance everywhere and i got it for around 1000.

From past few days I m testing it and today I found that my AC is perfectly fine. As currently sitting with AC at 24c and room temp is considerably cooler then my living which has no AC I oberserved after reaching room temp AC fan become slow and out door unit doesn't makes any noise maybe compressor stops or slows itself down but thats strange that even fan stops running why is it's happening as I heard inverter slows down the compressor but when I touched the outdoor unit I didn't felt any vibration if the fan is running one can feel the vibration. But still after this AC keeps the room at set temp untill u change it.
