Your haier may be working like my LG does which is why you feel warm.

To feel chill you need a room temp of 20-22C. Some ACS can get this done at 26 but some work on room temperature so if 26 is set then AC needs little work really because usually without ac temp is 29-30C.

You need a thermometer and clamp meter as advised earlier to see if there is a problem or not.

Any electrician shop will have a variety of clamp meters.

A clamp meter for 1000-1200 should last you a long time and give accurate readings.

The one I have is in abundance everywhere and i got it for around 1000.

From past few days I m testing it and today I found that my AC is perfectly fine. As currently sitting with AC at 24c and room temp is considerably cooler then my living which has no AC I oberserved after reaching room temp AC fan become slow and out door unit doesn't makes any noise maybe compressor stops or slows itself down but thats strange that even fan stops running why is it's happening as I heard inverter slows down the compressor but when I touched the outdoor unit I didn't felt any vibration if the fan is running one can feel the vibration. But still after this AC keeps the room at set temp untill u change it.

One more thing I have observed that inverter AC doesn't makes your room freezer untill it's running on 16-18c as compresser runs all the time like conventional ACs. But rather it makes room comfortable enough to sleep as it slows the compressor down hence u save electricity.

I don't know why some people says that their inverter AC chills the room even at 27c isn't they r exacrating it.

I set my AC at 27 when going to sleep and sometimes wake up early in morning because room get too cold, I change it to 28 and then go back to sleep again. My room size is 15x19, and AC is Orient 1.5 ton DC Inverter.

Gree Diagnosis!

I have Gree 2 ton Inverter A.C with 3.7 EER.

In the afternoon at current lahore temperature this A.C. is continuously taking 10.4 AMPS at 25C and does not lower it. In the night it does go to 1.7 - 2.2 Amps.

The outdoor unit is placed on roof with maximum sun exposure.

What do you guys suggest? Will making a shade make it reduce amps in afternoon?
