What's your verdict on T3 and T1 inverters power consumption difference?

Which one provides faster cooling and stablises on less amps?

In my experience with multiple T3 and T1, T3 provide faster cooling with less power consumption by approx 1-2A less during day time.

Most people here cannot accept their bad decisions and keep praising their T1 and call T3 useless. Lol.

to be honest bro im not happy with t3 performance.

T3 has no doubt a better power consumption but this T3 compressor isn't cooling as it should.

I'm going to take off LG T3 and install Orient T1 2 ton because the LG T3 2 ton is just not doing its job in terms of cooling.

I also heard someone complaining about HAIER t3. i guess all t3's work according to room temp and T1 has a different functionality which cools more.

My verdict = T3 is significantly better than T1 in terms of lesser amps.
However:

I think this is probably due to difference in how they sense room temperature, rather than cooling.

All the splits i tested, majority of different brands show different cooling at same thermostat setting.

Tier 1 Top brands actually keep room temperature same as set point, whereas Chinese brands keep room temperature 1-2C less than set point, giving people the psychological illusion that they are providing more cooling than Tier 1 brands.

Always felt Tier 1 Top brands ACs cooling less than Tier 2 brands on same thermostat setting in my personal experience.

I dont feel cold or comfortable at LGs 18 degree which draws 10 amps as it is the lowest temp available.

Gree 26 makes me turn off ac and LG is operating at 21 for past days but its a waste of money.

I dont know but there must be a reason as to why daikin orient and gree are using t1. I mean even panasonics new model is t1 for middle east and their last one was t3 (cool only).

I think our weather is t1 as t3 also takes into account humidity levels. There is a functionality difference. Lowest LG temp does not match Grees 25. Orient also chills people at 28.

At least I fully agree with you. Got Gree Viola 1.5 ton this April. My wife is defo not that happy (and it's kinda embarrassing as I made the decision to buy Gree). Defo not as chilled as my old Dawlance conventional AC 1.5. I run it at 24C at night.

I am quite happy with my orient. When set at 28-29, it consumes around 550-600Watt average. The wifi feature is add-on as it has got an android + web app which can show you reports are real time data (although a little buggy some times)

Kindly note that room is on ground floor and no sun from any side, outdoor is also under of garage so that is a factor as well

Facing same issue with my haier t3 inverter. Have to run it at 24atleast to make room comfortable. And I fear it will be pulling alot of electricity.

Apart from that can anyone tell me why my AC doesn't slows the compressor. Instead it trips. Why it's happening?

Need help using a clamp meter. Do I need to cut the wires open? Not very qualified to cut the wires if so.

use a knife and only open the insulation, inside you'll see three wires, brown earth and another one. put the clamp meter on brown wire and then turn on the a.c.

When using a knife to cut apart the insulation, make sure ac switch is off and dont cut any other wires, you will only remove the black insulation of the a.c. wire that is going to your switch.

My Gree Viola 1.5 tons won't chill even when set at 16C. I'm seriously regretting my purchase now, should have gone with Orient Ultron Plus. I just can't figure out what the issue is.

having similar issue with my gree.

It cools at 29C and keeps taking 11 amps. will not lower amps or decrease temperature. Tried running it for 6 hours on 29C 28C 27C no luck. even at 29 it wont reduce amps :(..Room does get cold to 22C but ac keeps taking 10 amps.

I think my sensors are bad or something is up with the bloody chinese parts.
