I don't know about samsung or LG but i think it depends a lot on external factors. In my case, room is at back of house so no sun at all to the room. Outdoor is also in garage.
Last night, weather in Lahore was really good so the average current drawn was around 2.4A. This comes out to be around 500W. AC was set at 27C with ceiling fan turned off.
Yes it ramps up and ramps down. Below 2.5A, it cuts off the compressor. I heard LG cuts off compressor below 1A. So far my experience has been good and i am very satisfied with its performance even in 46C summer days. Whatever you buy, make sure to get it vacuumed with a proper vacuum pump. Low voltage start up is an amazing feature as in summers, voltage drop down to 185v.
The only negative thing i have noticed so far is that the indoor blower is a bit noisy. I have to keep it at low or mid. Also it feels that the inside air flow is not laminar when swings are on and it randomly makes whooshing sounds. my old dawlance used to make that too. Anyway noisy blower can only be heard if ceiling fan is off and it is not that high to get on your nerves.
And the AC comes with every single accessory used to install the AC. even pipe holder and plastic of paris was given with the unit. Just like samung came with all accessories as shared previously. My suggestion is that if you wanna buy gree, then better go for samsung for 77k. If budget is less, then orient is good enough. Orient has a good presence in pakistan, they assemble mitsubishi ACs so i hope they are better than haier etc
