Inverter AC and Everything about them

@centos I have 1.3Ton Gree inverter A.C. in my room (flat) with no direct sun. I have put thermacole on the windows to minimize heat exchange. The temperature I operate the A.C. on is 26 (full fan). Yet the ampere never gets below 4.6A when it run for 14+ hours (night time). I checked the gas, it's full.

My T1 stabilizes at 3A at 26C. At night, it even trips the compressor as it cannot go below 2.6A.
Room is ground floor, no sun exposure to room or outdoor. I am in Lahore

Need little help from experts...
Yesterday night I ran my Haier inveter for almost 12 hours and amp readings are as below.
Note: I set my room temp at 27C and when I start my Ac that time room temp Wa Alaikumussalam 35C.
11:30 pm amps was 10 max
12:30 am amps were 7
1 am amps were 6.50 ( at 1 pm room temp achieved which Wa Alaikumussalam 27C)
1:30 am amps were 5.60
2 am amps were 4
2:30 am amps were 5
4 am amps were 4
5 am amps were 2 ( that time I set room temp to 26C and went to sleep)
10:30 am amps were 2.75
11 am amps were 2

These were 12 hours amps readings will you plz guide that why there is no consistency in amps even after room temp acheived at 1 am? Secondly what are avg units consumed on average in 12 hours? And thirdly are these readings justify energy savings??
Lengthy msg but ur valuable comments and guidance will be appreciated. Thanx in advance

Top floor, gets direct sun all day from one wall and the roof. It's the hottest and the biggest room in our house, don't remember the exact size, it's around 200 sqft.

Set fan to speed 1 and see amps will drop immediately, I have the same AC, read post 172 not satisfied with it plus even cooling isnt that great juat keeps room temp on 27-28 even if I run it on 16 for hours

The problem is that when I increase the temperature from 26 to say 27, the compressor is tripped instead of decrease in Amperes

I'm getting an Orient Ultron ecomfort smart edition 1.5 ton. The dealer says WiFi is optional and I have to pay Orient 3k to come and install it. He's asking 61k for the AC with delivery but no installation. Am I missing something here, shouldn't WiFi be standard in this smart edition AC? Is he trying to sell me at a lower price by removing this WiFi feature?

There is a minimum limit below which it cannot throttle down the speed so trips off. For chinese this limit is around 2.5 whereas for brands like lg, it goes below to 1A

all these are WiFi enabled. Which model exactly are you getting? I think he is selling a non-wifi model which is why price is low otherwise no 1.5T is for 61k.

The prices of orient online website are same as their outlets. I bought 1.5T ultron plus for 69k from outlet and same price is mentioned on website. You can bargain a little ~1k

On a side note, wifi is just shashka. Yes it shows you stats online and you can control it from anywhere through internet but not worth 3k extra. The app and server is made and managed by BlueEast, the electronics division of orient. And it is not bugs free.

i think it depends on AC to AC. my orient trips after like 2.5A.

How is the cooling ? My Gree 1.3 cooling is average at best. Apms do go down to 2.3-2.5 at night at auto speed and 28 temp. My AC trips at 29/30

Thanks for your update. I have ordered online just now, same model as yours. I know Wifi is mostly a shashka but may be useful in some situations, for which 3K may be worth it. Eg. if the AC is not running efficiently, then the power consumption is likely to go up compared to the average one will know the AC needs attention. This would easily recover the 3K. Scheduling and other benefits too.

Im deciding between 1.5T Gree 12AITH (latest Wifi Model) and Orient 1.5T Jupiter. Gree has shiny finish so will be easier to clean and also has 4-way swing. Orient is much cheaper but only 2-way swing and I'm also not sure about quality/reliability. Please advise.

Good luck! make sure to get it vacuumed, if their technician (who are local contract electrician) says k kuch nahi hota hamne boht AC lagae han bla bla, tell them that vaccum part is written in bold in installation manual of this AC. Pay extra (500-1500) if you have to but get it vacuumed with a vacuum pump. It is a must for long life of compressor.

I can only say that gree is not worth its price. How much Jupiter costs and how much gree does?

Better to go for ultron plus for 69k. it has 4 way swing, big indoor which throws a lot of air, i keep it at low fan speed all the time. I don't think there will be any cleaning problem

Price difference is about 20K. Gree has all the features as well, the only reason I'm divided about orient is because I'm not sure about efficiency and reliability. The sales guy showed us Dawlance and Orient side-by-side after lifting top cover, they were literally exactly the same, no difference in anyway. So I suspect both companies are getting ACs made in china by some oem AC manufacturer, so not sure what quality it is.

The reason I was going for Jupiter over Ultron is because we like simple/clean white design. Ultraon has a thick golden strip running across.

Bigger size of indoor and outdoor unit matters a lot for performance and efficiency positively, a part mostly neglected in general.
