Apart from solar system .if a person doesnot have solar system .is there any other advantage for inverter ac ? I have normal split ac 2 tonnes.might buy inverter ac if there is any advantage

the a.c they are selling are damn cheap.
gree 18CITH12 is in 60k and orient ultron classic ecomfort 1.5 ton is in 47k . should i go for it???

Yes, go for it. Why do you have suspicions? is a good online retailer, has a name, and won't sell you a fake product. Atleast, chances are very minimal in comparison to a small shop. I have bought a no of items from including Gree Inverter AC and I found the best deal with Standard Chartered credit card. Am using it without any problems. Bought a lot of other things too, all are working fine.

Yeah, I have the exact same observation. Probably, just to save electricity, inverter ACs infact do compromise a bit on cooling.

Isnt just a place where different sellers list their products? I cant see anywhere on the site where its written that guarantees that the products listed are authentic.

I have been a victim of fraud going on on sites like these though I only lost 1200 rupees.

I have just bought Gree 1 Ton Inverter AC and I shocked when I saw, it comes with silver pipes. My mechanic gave me advice that I should replace these silver pipes with copper. Can anyone tell me how durable these silver pipes come with gree ac n should I repelec these pipes with copper pipes?

About a year or so back Gree Cavalry ground salesperson himself accepted this that the pipes that they give are silver pipes. He said that if your house is near some big sewage drain then get copper pipes else the silver ones would also suffice. But u can get expert opinion from others and get copper pipes which are about Rs.150-250/ foot (both pipes included) and depending from where u buy.

it's not silver. Just because it's color is silver does not mean it is "silver" metal. It must be aluminum or some kind of steel. These pipes should be used if you live near sewage stream. Copper can easily corrode there with gases especially hydrogen sulfide.

As I suggested above u will have to bear about Rs.1500-2500 extra to buy Copper pipes 24 or 22 gauge(22 is better).if u can do that it is better than Silver/aluminium etc. However if u do not have any sewage drain nearby, then silver could suffice too. U shd check with some professional installer too

Use the provided pipes. If Gree is officially providing these then these will serve the purpose. Besides I have not heard anything about cooling related issue in these Gree inverter air conditoners.

It does not matter if refrigerant supplying pipes are made of copper, aluminium or some other metal. These just have to supply the gas. There is no other purpose of these.
