Supply pipes from indoor unit to outdoor unit got nothing to do with cooling. The build material of condenser and evaporator coils+fins matter the most.

The blue fins that you see in indoor and outdoor unit are due to the coating of anti-corrosive material on copper. But if fins are made from aluminum these do not require any such anti-corrosive coating. Usually coated copper coils are used in condenser and evaporator because of better thermal conductivity.

If there is sewage drain nearby, believe me it will eat away the bare copper in a year or two. Hydrogen sulfide is extremely corrosive gas. If you live near such drain where you could smell the sewage water, then buy AC that got condenser and evaporator coils coated with anti-corrosive material.

I read your article already. Mr expert tell me how refrigerant supplying pipes covered with "tape" and "foam" and few feet long going through wall hole are gonna impact on "cooling". Condenser and Evaporator should be made of copper and coated with anti-corrosive material. I am sure Gree is using copper condenser and evaporator.

Ch talal is right about blue fins .
2nd thing. Yes condenser + evaporator fins matter the most BUT the piping Material too.
When ever you guys bought a new AC kindly spray a chemcal on the discharge and suction pipe of AC and on bends of grill too.
3rd thing about having a house near to sewage drain can effect or not? Yes Evaporator fins will start getting damage in a year or so. for that must try anti-corrosive (lecker spray) Spray.

I'd agree with Ch. talal here. In these compact systems, this much amount of rocket science is not required. Mostly condenser and evap coils should be some good material that allows maximum heat transfer.

As far as I know Mitsubishi ACs are being locally assembled by Orient. Parts are imported from Japan, Indonesia or Thailand (depends from where they could get them cheaper). Not sure about LG whether they are imported from South Korea, China or assembled here. Both Air conditioners are expensive and good. Buy whichever fits your budget.

Orient, Gree these ACs also consume very low power once required temperature is attained.

If inverter air conditioner runs at proper refrigerant pressure and your room is not exposed to direct sunlight all day long, you will actually save money.

Better buy LG or Panasonic inverter.

In this amount, you can perhaps buy a small scale airconditioner manufacturer Go for LG dual inverter, it has a good reputation.

yes they are inverter but I never checked amperes. as per specs, it takes 1000W max. I'm satisfied with cooling. Monthly units depends many factors, usage, temperature, how insulated is the room etc. in my case about 425 Units, one split about 16 hours a day at temperature 28C in 12 * 13 room on ground floor. 425 units includes other load (fridge, lights, oven, fans etc) as well
