Buddy kenwood pakistn rni make millions of acs. If those kenwood uk engineers are approving these designs of millions of pounds then it doesnt hurt to list pakistan as an official presence.

Kenwood in pakistan is present through rni and it is again a pakistani company with no foreign relation. Royalty lets you rent brand names. Doesnt mean the name is responsible or liable.

Above link is kenwood UK website and it asks you to contact them after choosing country. They dont even have PAKISTAN as a country they are operating in hahahaha.

They are not even present for kitchen appliances in Pakistan and you claim they gave and allow pakistan to use their ac technology. You also claim. British engineers in kenwood uk approve the designs of these acs hahahhahahahahahaha.

But kenwood UK doesnt even list pakistan in the options of country they have a presence.

You yourself said that RNI is licensed by Kenwood UK. Are they or are they not? According to "Google" they are licensed by Kenwood. So it doesn't matter if they mention Pakistan on their website or not. They are involved in business in Pakistan.

You're claiming what you don't have proof of. So why don't you find proof where it says that RNI is a fraud company selling counterfeit Kenwood products in Pakistan?

Since you're insisting about this useless claim, I am going to contact Kenwood UK and ask them if Pakistan Kenwood is affiliated with UK Kenwood. I will post their reply here. It can take up to 3 days for them to reply.

Thank you for opening this thread, please keep the thread clean so people like me can benefit it. You guys should give your opinions but lets try not to force it on others.

So i have to buy AC this weekend, it seems kenwood is local made so currently considering gree, lg and samsung. I am living in Lahore so opting for 1.5T as 1T in future might be under-powered if ever i move to top floor or sun facing room.

Now the thing is that samsung does not have certified installers (technicians) to install their appliances. I am saying this because two weeks ago i bought a washing machine from samsung flagship store packages mall, and they send normal contractor type electrician to install it at my home. Now this guy did not even remove the transport packaging material on which machine is standing. I asked him that its written on box that remove the packing and machine should stand on its legs but he said its alright bla bla. After usage, it vibrated a lot so i lodged a complain to samsung. On weekend, they sent their certified technician who came on a shehzor truck with all his good tools. He said to me that samsung does not have its own installers any where. The people who come to install it are usually contacts of shop owners.

So even though samsung provides a great after sales repairs/troubleshooting services but they don't have their own certified technicians to do the first time installation. Please do correct me if i have been miss-informed but if it is true, then its useless to spend 100k on an AC which is not even installed by professionals.

I also went to Gree emporium last week, upon inquiry, they just gave me a brochure and quoted prices on that so again it is unclear what is the difference between each model. They said installation is not free and when i asked about vacuuming, he said its not needed for new ACs. Is that correct? Don't know if they have good certified installers or they too have local contacts to do the job on some commission.

Edit: there is a gree model which states two stage compression and their rep said to me that this AC has two compressors lol

I think its just not samsung, majority of the companies have no certified technicians to make an installation. Their own certified staff will be available only once you encounter a problem and register a complaint. Atleast this is what I have observed with Haier, Gree, Kenwood.

Its better to read the manual and install the equipment / appliance yourself. If not, atleast you should be well aware of all the technicalities. I installed Kenwood Automatic Washing Machine myself. Two plumbers I called had no idea how to do it.

Kenwood is local or chinese and probably has no link with Kenwood appliances and Kenwood Audio. Even though their products are much better than Haier. I am presently using a Kenwood Non inverger and it works fine. So, as long as it performs good, its ok.

Running an AC in heat mode / heat pump is never recommended, primarily because of the low efficiency of the setup. So, don't bother much about energy consumption there. If at all you have to run in heat mode, be prepared to spend comparatievly hefty amounts.

Using AC in winters will cost you more than heating your room with electro gas Japanese heaters. However, in case of gas load shedding, this makes for a great alternative IMHO.
