I once saw a York Split unit back in 2013 in Malaysia and it wasnt cooling well even though the malaysian temp is much more favorable for Ac but regardless of such suitable temp the ac was unable to fully cool the room i asked my friend and he said when he purchased unit because of lower cooling effects he called York ac technicians which later on confirm the R134A gas is low pressure gas and restricted to cool within designated atmosphere it means it cant cool the residence air conditioner becuase of high temp difference and lower pressure.

Normally AC outlet installation is not easily accessible and such a device should have a scrolling display meaning it cycles through the information without us having to press the button.

on Saturday visited Abdullah Haroon road for AC search, later end up with 1 ton Haier T- Series HSU-12LTG/022L(W). Non inverter AC. Rs. 43000/= Rs. 2000/= installation. (1 year parts and 5 years compressor) warranty starting from dec 2019.
for electric connection i have used a separate meter. my usage will be for 6 to 8 hours in night.

i think HSU comes with mitsubishi scroll type compressor and already 20 % energy saving.

its very good actually. try and install its outer unit preferably in a shade. good luck. its a good AC.

What is room size btw?

And you don't need to keep it at 26C. Even keeping it at 30C, on auto fan and auto swing, with medium speed ceiling fan will be more than enough for optimum comfort and consumption.

Humidity is what annoys the comfort level, AC reduces humidity to acceptable levels that creates a comfortable environment even at 30C.

Additionally there are sleep modes, on off timers etc, that you can set for further reduction of electricity bills. Like setting AC off timer after 2 hours with ceiling fan on, and it will automatically turn off after 2 hours etc.

If room is on first floor then better not ceiling fan.
Yes sleep mode is a great feature. You set AC at 26 and turn on sleep mode, it will run at 26 for one hour. Then run at 27 for another hour and finally sets it to 28 for rest of the night.

In moonsoon/humid days, run AC in dry mode. It consumes much lesser energy and cools the room very well as it reduces humidity.

i am on the 3rd floor of 5 floor building. i open the AC on 16 for 30 minutes and after that i increase the temp to 26. till morning 6.30. Is it ok - or did i do some modification in it. Please guide. Thanks

You have 2 floors above you so no issue, you can use fan and set AC to 28. I have personally tested it by noting the meter readings.
An AC running on 27 without ceiling fan consumes more units as compared to one running on 28 with ceiling fan. Also its more comfortable and even spread of cooling.

In fact now there are international articles popping up that are saying to use fans for less bills.

How much solar panels are required to run a 1.5 ton DC inverter split ac with 3000 watts ups and do we need a 24 watt system or 48 watt system.I want to run the system on Solar during the day time and needed battery backup for around 4 hours during night without connecting the system with electricity.

totally agree. I use a pedestal fan, can comfortably set the AC to 29-30. Ceiling fan just makes things uncomfortable at these settings.
