Bought Ecostar Inverter AC and its working very good, however the marketing department made a big blunder by putting a big sticker on the face with such strong adhesive that removing it has caused permanent damage to the body finishing

what area are you in?

no-one is asking for your source of income.. so please leave that aside. Ask any oldschool A/C shop if they use vacuum pump when installilng A/C at home and other bits like wiirng gauge and if they are using chocolate/joinder/terminators for wiring or are they twisting and nitto taping??

these 2 very simple questions can filter your search.

Once you install your equipment properly - It will show its real performance as the manufacturer mentions. I personally installed quite a lot of A/Cs and even work on larger central units here in USA (2 to 10 tons) - same principles but on larger scale - and on that large scale even a little error results in extreme high running cost and repairs.

Assalamualaikum guys. Hope you all are doing fine.
I wanted to know about the gree 1.5 ton inverter gs18cith12. I am currently constructing my new home and want to install 4 inverter ac. I want something which is reliable and performs well on solar as well
Currently I have 2 orient 1.5 ton ultron classics and 1 haier 60% savings ac, but I am not so much satisfied with them. Haier one is all right but it's cooling is not great and the fact that it's not an inverter makes me worry that haier inverter is not gonna perform well. Orients ones also are not cool enough, even though these are installed in a basement (not the typical one, closed and all but with windows and sunken patios 7-10ft wide open). Last year one of the orient ac didn't cool for whole 3 days. I contacted orient and upon checking the ac, the representative said that it needs general service. After doing that , it worked fine for a week and then again it didn't cool for 2 days. After all it worked fine for the rest of the season. The result is that orient is not much reliable. I need something tough. I also have one haier ac 1.5 ton which is about 15 years old and surprisingly it works just fine and cooling is top class.
Can you guys guide me which will be better orient ultron gold fin series or gree cith12. You guys can also suggest some else brand if its better than both these.

Not buying an inverter would soon be criminal Why would you not go for something which is based on advanced tech and saves you and the country a lot of electricity?

I have 13 year old dawlance air conditioners non inverter in my house
Both are going strong
I don’t need to change them and btw I don’t use them much

I'm getting gree one for 79k and orient one for 75k. And 85 is my budget.

Well I am not updated but my relative bought one for 91K and its very good. I think maybe 2 years ago

Well, due to inflation, I don't think it's for 91k anymore. And because I'm buying 4 acs, going beyond 80-85k will result in paying about 30-50k extra.

I have been to countless installers in rwp and no one possessed a vacuum pump, do you know anyone in Isb/Rwp who might follow the proper procedure.

Well I have used Gree non inverter in saudi arabia and I must say it did well in 48 degree celsius

Hmm. Gree non inverters were one of the best. But because now there is a trend of inverters, many other companies are getting good at it, like kenwood and orient, hence the difficulty in decision.

You may find Mitsubishi under 90-95k as the model is old n dealers are looking to get rid of their old stock. Last I bought for 87k. They are strong and light of electricity bills.
Gree is good in cooling n heating but heavy on electricity consumption. Stay away from haier, too many complaints. Orient is good too if on a tight budget.
Try lahore centre in dha or abid market. Don't fall for shopkeepers recommendations coz they hv vested interests.
Whichever you end up buying follow proper installation technique that is using a vacuum pump for line sets before opening up valvues.

Lahore center is the one giving gree for 79k. They don't have Mitsubishi. The salesman was recommending the haier puri inverter for 95k. But again, I have heard much complaints about haier so not going for it. I guess gree is the best option right now as gree gs18cith12 is one of the latest models and Mitsubishi one is going to be old.
