Personally i will go for Pel, Gree, Kenwood, Samsung, LG and at the last Daikin.
I personally had experience with all in home and office environment were usage was almost 24/7 and haeir performance decreases with time very fast. There were some cases where haeir inverters performed well but 90 percent they wont.
At present i am using 2 kenwoods for heating 1220s for home uses 600 to 800 watts and in office 1835s that uses around 1500 watts.
The quality of 1835s is not good as compared to 1220s but i think it has good invertor compressor.
Technician said that kenwood removed the wire grill that protects outdoor condenser fins.
Indoor unit air went little bit misaligned in 25 days.
One more thing 1835s has only one way auto swing option. Vertically only. Unlike 1220s horizontal swing is manual.

After a very strong a continuous persuasion of about two weeks and through dealer as well, finally the Haeir technician arrived yesterday and now he has taken both the units to workshop and promised delivery after two days. Let us see what happens.

A month ago, I purchased a Dawlance and a Sharp unit as well. Both of them working ok so far.

Yes. This is my first experience with Haier. And it is not good so far.

Hi All,

I have orient ultron ecomfort and in these summers first time i had to get it serviced and gas was refilled after 3 seasons and it was fine in summers. Now in winters ive noticed that it does not take the temp beyond 21 and it automatically trips after an hour so. When i go outside to check, there's always water dripping from beneath outer unit not from the drain pipe. Then again it starts working after 5-10 minutes once its powered off. Anyone please throw some light is it ok or theres something which needs to be fixed. Thanks.

Did your installer actually pay attention while installing?

Was the lineset vacuumed? Was the gas charge adjusted for lineset length? Was anything done to measure superheat/subcool.

Or was it, thonko, lagao, tight karo, ges kholo, paisa pakro aur Allah Hafiz ..

Water dripping is normal, in heating mode, water drips from outdoor unit.
And 21 is quite high temperature in heating mode when ambient is already below 10. So i think its perfectly normal.

brother my experience with haier is very good. its the best in local manufacturers.

i prefer haier coz it has very good service structure. you should log a complaint on their website and helpline both.

be patient i am hopeful that they will sort it for you IN SHA ALLAH

If it worked fine last winters and this year its not the same, it might be a gas over/undercharge issue ...you could ask your ac guy to adjust the gas pressure so it performs same as it used to before servicing this year

Lesson learned.. consider this as expense of hiring idiots with tools.

Next time hire proper people who know their work. Just ask for them.

They charge atleast double of what idiots with tools charge.

How do you confirm set temperature is not reached?
One way is to check on remote using feeling button, that will tell you the temperature remote is reading.
Another better way is to change mode to FAN and the temperature you see on AC display will be the temperature AC is reading at input.

Take note that behavior and start/stop curve on heating mode is very different than cooling mode.

Very sorry to hear that. I purchased Haier inveter AC 1.5 in Nov 18. I couldn't be more dissatisfied. Totally ridiculous. Haier is a crap company. Perhaps worst of them all. Don't buy this Chinese junk. I sold it out within 3 months at loss of Rs 20k. In three months of usage, I had initiated no of complaints. Haeir is the worst company you can buy products from. Period!

Yes I always check the temp reading by remote Button which shows the current room temp. Although last night it didn't trip cuz I kept the fan speed to medium. Few days ago it was tripping on super and high fan mode.

I am in the market for DC Inverter ACs.

But I am totally a newbie to this technology, I’m unaware of the problems I might go through.

However, what are the best if not better AC options available in the market?

I am leaning towards Gree, Dawlance, Orient, Kenwood.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Please share your experience with your AC.

They are non-existent in my area. and probably a rare breed; may be extinct. If you or any other brother on the forums know then guide me. please.

My money is halal ki kamai. I have done a lot of search already.

This is dilemma in living in Pakistan. First it is difficult to earn halal, then it is difficult to save it from dakus in government and if then there is anything left; these idiots snatch it from you.
