some chinese unit. supposed to be panel mounted. i used a standard open box of china fitting, and blanking plate of china fitting. made a cutout in the blanking plate, and fitted this meter.

a test unit i made separately.

Total pressure washer is also good, my ac technician uses it. It has 130 bar pressure.

just the gun is what i am talking about. other wise all pressure washers work. for AC work, get the lowest pressure one

How is the quality of TCL air conditioners?
Read very bad reviews about their poor after sale service on their official Facebook page. Their LED TVs have serious manufacturing defects as hundreds of people are complaining about it on their FB page

That's what stopped me from buying their air conditioners. Most people are complaining about their poor after sale service. Do check their FB page.

Dawlance is also making crap air conditioners. They got leakage issue. Checked their FB page too. 1 guy was writing that he bought 12 dawlance inverter air conditioners and they all went bad within 1 year. Some of them developed gas leakage issue with 2 or 3 months and some got burnt PCBs.

Also checked Pel website. They are now offering 2 years PCB warranty and 3 years for compressor. Not sure if they also have gas leakage issues. Their refrigerators are really crap. Bought one glass door refrigerator some 1.5 years ago and its door rubber seals have already gone bad. The dealer in Abid market lahore before delivery changed the fridge on spot because the one they brought from warehouse had something faulty on the rear. While i was standing there They brought another fridge for another customer and that also had similar issue.

These all crook companies don't even give a damn about quality anymore.

I am using dawlance, this is the 2nd season, the only fault i had to deal with was swing motor which was replaced in warranty without any problem.

In Pakistan people buy car of 4 Million and things go bad and warranties are not entertained. You are talking about mere AC. Even if you buy expensive brand AC they will sill behave in similar fashion so I believe its all about luck in Pakistan.

Where is the peace of mind if you have to follow up the khuwari to fix your air conditioner.
Besides if someone could afford 4 million car he could also afford to change his malfunctioning split air conditioners every few months. I can't.

The technician installed the ac and filled the gas but cooling doesn't look up to the mark. In 1 hour temperature set on 16° but room temperature only comes to 29°. (Recorded now)
Also you can see the pressure on the gauge when compressor running on high speed.

Yes but nothing major of the sort. I made a complain, the next day company guy came to check and make a report, the day after he came again and changed the motor. After that no problem so far.

i think as far as quality of the product is concerned by the look of it, TCL is offering best. If installation is done professionally i am hopeful it will last a life time IN SHA ALLAH.

i have very good experience with Dawlance too AL HAMD U LILLAH. My 12 years old 1 ton is still running fine without any major issue (only compressor capacitor changed twice and outer unit fan capacitor changed once).

Mate you seem to have run into problem with every brand. May your problems resolve earlier. I would consider my self extremely then. Purchased a Dawlance refrigerator in 1999. It worked for two decades flawlessly and then sold it. Purchased an LG Window Gold Fin AC in 1999, worked without any error for 18 years. Sold. Dawlance AC bought in 2004 still works perfect. Gree inverters purchased 4 years back are working perfect. The only crap product I ever encountered was Haier Inverter AC. Sold in two months at 20k loss. To me Haier is the most pathetic company. Ridiculous products. If anyone has used PM Laptop Scheme laptop from Haier, s/he would agree.

And yes I agree. Their facebook page tells a whole lot different story. So many complaints of poor customer service, low quality products, unprofessional HR and all that. Really confused now whether to go for it or not. Thought they were better but just like any other Chinese crap, they too have fallen into the same line.

You are reading too much into it, a non-issue. You will read such reviews for all the brands.

Gree and Kenwood and Haier are not better, same complaints will be there, but shopkeepers and sales people glorify it because of huge sales margins and profits, as the unit is severely overpriced.

We have 3 Dawlance refrigerators one of them purchased 15 years ago still running fine. Only needed to change door rubbers. Two of them are 10 year olds. Dawlance was known for making quality products. But time has changed.

Haier air conditioners were once known for leaking water from indoor units. Even my class room had Haier air conditioners leaking water from indoor units on the heads of students. But still got one old non-inverter AC installed in drawing room and running fine. It also used to leak water but have fixed its joints.

Yes PM scheme Haier Laptops are crap. Got one at home. Its too bulky and its power button malfunctions since the day 1.
