Hello guys, since this thread is very much active i am posting my question here.
I am interested in the Orient 1.5 ton Inverter AC sale that is going on currently and need some help in deciding.
1st Question: is related to the quality of the unit and whether its any good in terms of savings in energy. It will be used more then 14-16 hours a day since i am setting it up in my PC room where i work almost all day n night. Room is on 2nd floor and gets really hot in summers, normally i shift my system downstairs where a 1 Ton Dawlance AC serves me well in summers. Should i be looking at other models for better energy savings like gree, acson or sharp. My budget is not set but its looming in range of 60-80k depending on the unit quality.
2nd Question: I have a Homage HNE-3003 Inverter UPS 2400W(pure sine) only connected to my PC which even at full load(rendering) and overclocked don't consume more then 500W and in daily tasks its hardly 200W, these readings i am getting directly from my Corsair digital power supply inside my PC with lcd's etc included. Since the UPS still have around 1.8KW or so left to be used would it be able to run a 1.5 ton Inverter AC if the AC in question is continuously run and not started when on UPS battery power. FYI: Batteries are 2 x 180.
3rd Question: If in case a 1.5 Ton Inverter AC is a no go for the mentioned UPS then what would be more efficient?
- 1.5 Ton Inverter AC running directly on wapda power(possible load shedding and restarts)
- 1.0 Ton Inverter AC running on UPS(continuously run all day)
Current experience with AC's: 2 Ton Orient, Mitsubishi 1.5 slim, Dawlance 1 Ton. All running great for multiple years.
