General info, (regardless of the thread topic)
If you DONT run your inverter AC for longer periods of time ie 4-6 hours straight without loadshedding, ie on solar or generator, you WONT HAVE ANY ELECTRICITY SAVINGS at all.
Inverter AC DO COOL FASTER than conventional split AC, without going into tech details, bcz of the technology used in the outer units, as well as the type of new Gas being used in inverters which is cooler than conventional and lighter thus cools faster than conventional.
Inverters donot take LOW VOLTAGE.. they take LOW AMPS.. if you have low VOLTAGE problem in summers (less than 205v) in your area, you must put a heavy stabilizer on it.. otherwise it will damage your compressor and low voltage produces half the cooling than full 220V.
Local Brands are marketing with LOW VOLTAGE working, which is nothing more than a small stabilizer function they have preinstalled in the ac and deep frezers due to local summer low voltage problem in PK.. this is just a small workaround for our PK problems, as devices are never meant to work on low voltage.. no other international brand advertises as such, since running on low voltage is bad.. even a local low voltage ac / fridge, MUST have a stabilizer before it.
in local brands, Waves and dawlence are by far the oldest most reputed companies in terms of home appliances.. with waves being most reliable in fridges and triplets. Orient have poor build quality.. Haier work great but in case of problem only haier company repairmen can repair it, cz only they have the parts and skilled technicians for their products.. however their customer service in indeed very good and quick. 2-3 days max.
in international INVERTER brands. Acson(most expensive) >Sharp>Gree (cheapest)>LG>Panasonic.
for conventional split AC wich are most affordable, . Mitsubishi >Gree> everything else.
