How to remove working Inverter AC (just to shift to another location)? Please describe in detail. TIA.

as suggested, get it installed from them for free but do not let them open the valves. Call someone with vacuum pump and get the rest of job from him. It will cost you much lesser than full installation too

just noticed TCL only has 3 year compressor warranty vs 10 (Haier) and 12 (Dawlance)

Someday, some company will give you 50 years warranty on compressor as well. How charming.

Compressors in inverter ACs don't go bad due to the use of rotary technology. Only their capacitors get weak which are not covered under warranty and you will have to pay for that.

You will have to top up the gas as well after installation since much of the gas will be lost that was in copper pipes and coils.

Remove indoor unit and outdoor unit and move them to new location.

it turns out that kit has developed a fault.
Orient is not entertaining any complaint due to lockdown.

How much old is this AC? Looks new to me.

what? i dont think so. You can move all gas back in to compressor. No gas is lost that is in pipe or coils. Only a small quantity is lost

A friend has a haier inverter which has no intelligent algorithm whatsoever. It's always doings its own thing.
Stupid little thing.

Other friend has Gree CITH and after 2 seasons, it's now opened twice for PCB fault/leakage and what not.

Another friend wanted 1.5 ton inverter with good minimum amps range. I suggested to stay away from Haier and Gree. But he went for the Brand and got Gree FITH after spending good amount. That thing trips as soon as it gets to 3.4 Amps.
What a waste.

Meanwhile i am chilling with my 4 year old ultron which is trouble free without any service yet and works to as low as 2.3 Amps. I did get it after getting good vibe from this very forum.

Then you are lucky if your AC didn't develope any fault in 4 years.

By the way there is no such thing as intelligent learning in these ACs. They just measure indoor and outdoor temperatures and adjust compressor speed accordingly. If its hot outside compressor will keep sucking more current and may lower room temperature a degree or half lower than set temperature.

That gree AC has manufacturing defect in that.

Outdoor unit of inverters must be installed in well ventilated place where hot air should not be raising temperature in surroundings due to a wall or closed spaces. Then you can expect to save more money.

2 year old Ultron Plus. Lot of noise from blower, sounds like waves on the beach. Reduces slightly after cleaning filters but returns within a few days and weeks.
Current draw data from the Mevris App:

Don’t know how accurate this is but doesn’t seem to go below 3A. Room on ground floor with no direct sunlight exposure. Room 14 x 16.

Install an amp meter and check power consumption manually. Do not trust this app. It's as much dumb as dodos.

Besides it is showing you average current drawn. You do know that this AC could draw as high as 11 Amp in the beginning

I am thinking of moving this one to another room, and getting a replacement. In this room, the AC runs for more than 16 hours a day so I'm confused of what reliable brand and model to get which will run long hours daily without reducing performance over time. Budget is not a major issue, but I don't want to spend too high unless there is value for money clearly visible.
Eg. a Daikin 1.6 T inverter can cost more than double the average 1.5 T inverters, but I do not know how many years it would run and how efficiently, so cost over time may not be double the average. Best value for money over time is a difficult thing to judge unless one is experienced enough or technical enough in this field. Which I am not.
Overall, not too happy with my Ultron Plus purchase decision 2 years ago, but I guess I got what I paid for. Cost me around 60K back then.

Just wanna ad something about TCL elite series.
The remote controller that they are providing with 1 ton variant has self cleaning option missing. While 1.5 ton and 2 ton remote controllers have that option present. These idiots should fix this issue when the label on 1 ton AC also says that self cleaning function is present. I am pretty sure PCB of 1 ton has this function but only remote is missing that.

This much amp draw is quite normal. The sound and uneven air flow is due to choked filters, choked evaporator coils and gunk deposits on blower wheel.

Its called pumping down refrigerant. I have never done it myself but i have seen technicians doing it. The idea is to close the liquid line valve and turn on compressor, the compressor sucks all refrigerant from pipes and evaporator coil from suction side and pumps it in to condenser. Once gauge reads 0, you shut off the compressor.

I have Orient 1ton inverter AC
The cooling is great but the air throw is getting poor. In the 4yrs of its usage its fan blower has been taken out and cleaned 2 times. However i dont understand how it gets all the dust stucked up in it after only about a month like its running in dirt/dust filled room.... I clean its filter every 2 weeks and only find very light dust on it... So if filter is not getting dirty why the fan blower gets more dirt stucked.........And due to this dirt the airflow is not proper and right now only air is throwing frm right side of the vents..... I looked with a torch, and the blower is not like filled with dirt but just the edges are bad....

Is it possible i can take the blower out myself? If not then any reliable technician in khi, johar.
But i also need a solution that the blower doesn't get dirt filled every time.
