Quick way is give it 220V for a second and short it using screw driver, if it sparks with sound then it is good (be careful while doing that) . Moreover, in some cases, bad capacitor swells from one or more sides.

salam Guys.
I have an issue related to my Orient 1.5 T DC Inverter. Bought it like 2.5 years back and unfortunately its gas got leaked this year from the valves of outdoor. According to the technician, the valve was not tight properly.
Now the issue is, upon running it again for a month, the cooling is again gone worst and i think gas is leaked again. I also ntocied a foggy environment in my room last time when its gas got leaked and experienced the same today again
I think its indoor is leaked. But how, its a gold fin model and upon installation i myself asked the fitter to do a layer of paint/lacquer on all the indoor and outdoor piped and fines and he did it. I myself bought two cans of it. Expose all the copper pipes and performed two coats of it.
I need to rectify the issue and need an epxert to trace out the leak and refill the gas. Im very much cary towards my thing and this leak has created a pain in my head. Please share the contact details of an expert from lahore who can trace, rectify the issue and then refill the gas.

I think you are confusing service port with the valves. Both lines have a valve that can be opened or closed with an allen key.

Yes you are right, the valves were tighten again by an allen key.

Ok guys. I sourced out a Technician to trace out the issue and to rectify it. He is an old chap and knows by his quality work.
He visited my place yesterday. Started his T-shoot with the outdoor first. The copper pipe joints were checked and found ok. I told him that I have noticed twice or thrice a foggy environment when I have used the AC. He opened up the indoor body, checked the U-type copper tubes of Evaporator and found no oil deposit. On the left side, he removed that plastic cover and found oil drops. Plus these oil drops were also found on the wall upon inspection.
He has taken the indoor for the leakage fixation. After the leakage issue is resolved, I have asked him to apply thick layer of paint on the tubes to avoid leakage from the same evaporator again. I think there is a leak in the evaporator tubes. Im not an expert in it so I might be writing a wrong part/equipment name.
Plus the Evaporator was too filthy dirty. It was clean from the front but from the back it was hell dirty. Also the blower was extremely dirty, I had tried cleaning the blower by tooth brush but still it was dirty.
How can a AC which was run for two years be so much dirty and how can a AC with a lacquer coat on it can develop a leak in its evaporator lines?? Can someone guide me how to protect it from leakage.
Im attaching its pictures. I purchased it on April 2018 and exactly after running it for 2 years it gave up. I am actually very much disappointed and frustrated with it. Previously, I was using Mitsubishi Mr Slim and same had happened with it.

Did you figure out the issue? We have a old Carrier split ac, it doing the same thing. Sometimes it works fine and cools very well, other times it just blows mildly cool air.

I think, I might just go for TCL, will look at it in person in a couple of days. Are TCLs assembled locally by TCL or some other company like Orient etc?

Any idea which brand compressor is installed in them?

Guys one more thing, I have been told by multiple technician that the copper pipes get corroded if a running nala is near by?? Is that true?? According to the technicians, fumes of the bio gases causes the corrosion on copper pipes.

Is that true and how to protect it

I have a gree 1.5 tons ac installed in 2015. Its evaporator was leaked and repaired around 3 months before. I am facing a strange problem as briefed below.

The issue is that the ac gives quite good cooling in day time while running on solar set-up. But at night time while running on KE, the cooling is not that good and it takes a lot of time for the ac to drop temp from 33 to even 32 C, sometimes 3 to 4 hours. What can be the issue??

Would a Daikin inverter in 1.6 T cooling only be a good idea if it cost around 110K? They are offering some sort of a discount so I was wondering if I’m missing something.

Haven't had the time to check it yet but I'm sure it's a capacitor issue.

I just got a call from them. They are offering non inverter 1.6 T cooling only for 94K. Sales person said the AC is with rotary compressor and is already energy efficient. Trying too hard to make a sale. Also said consumption difference between this and other local brand inverter is around 10%.
Is this worth looking into?

I have this ac with me. Works nicely no issues but it takes 8-8.5A. And for consumption inverter consumes less than non inverter sure shot whether its local or imported.
